Orbital Bullet is a fast paced 360° action-platformer with rogue-lite elements, where all actions take place in a circular pattern. Fight your way through a variety of procedural planets and use body modifications, crafting, upgrades and heavy weaponry.
360° hard-boiled gunplay: Projectiles traverse in a 360°-degree pattern allowing for a new unrivaled gunplay feeling.
“Just one-more-run”: Procedurally generated planets, mean enemies, bad-ass bosses, a diverse weaponry and game changing upgrades guarantee addictive gameplay.
Make the most satisfying long-range curved snipes you have ever done or blast and shred enemies with a load of your hyper shotgun. Or are you more of a rocket launcher fella?
Fast paced unrelenting pixel style-action: each death is permanent, but let’s be honest, dying is part of the fun.
Having a hard time making progress? Don’t worry, we got you covered! After each death you will be able to spend Nanobytes to receive permanent upgrades and skills.
How about a bigger Medi-Backpack or extra Shield to last a little bit longer?
Or activate the Combo System, to tremendously increase the pacing of the game and receive certain multipliers to currency drops and EXP.
Don’t like your starting weapon? Unlock a new more powerful one right from the start and get your revenge.
Build your own custom skill tree with our Dynamic Skill Trees! Make clever decisions to empower skills and reach new power spikes while the tree changes every time you play.
“We need guns, lots of guns.” Unlock, find, or buy more than 42 different guns, weapon upgrades and various power-enhancing perks that will change the way you’ll play.
Unlock four different classes to choose from, like the turret-carrying Engineer or the fire-fueled Hellion, each with a different skill tree.
Are you the type of person who enjoys some good ol’ pain? Good, because we got a Streak System that will make the game considerably more difficult (coupled with a few other surprises) with each completed run, until your streak ends. Don’t worry though, you will have plenty opportunity to die.
Orbital Bullet features a pounding electronica soundtrack composed by Juha Korpelainen & Niilo Takalainen. If you die a lot, at least you can listen to some catchy tunes.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 for 3D in VR and also the Samsung Odyssey 3D G90XF monitor
You can view my 3D in VR / VR 180 gameplay here: https://youtu.be/i9iaz6Vd0qo Yes, you can play Orbital Bullet in 3D in VR or 3D monitor by using the totally free Geo-11 3D mod. This converts almost any DX11 game into stereoscopic 3D! In this case, I converted the game into SBS 3D as you can see in the video. You may think that a pixel art game would not look good in glorious 3D, but you would be wrong. It looks great! The game truly shines and looks as it should, not flat like a pancake but 3D like a 360 wrap-around cylinder! Game ran fine. No optimization issues. No errors or bugs. Just beautiful 3D in VR. 3D in VR Rating 8/10.
I bought this game (in a bundle)! Every good decision starts with a plan. This one started with me seeing a game in my feed and buying it roughly four seconds later, which is less a plan and more a personality flaw. The cylindrical gameplay is cleverer than it has any right to be, given it's all happening on a little 2.5D plane. Experimenting with weapons and upgrades that hit across both layers actually pays off, and once you've got the ranges and angles sorted, you feel untouchable. Briefly. Enjoy it. It's fast, too, and it does not care about your feelings - the deeper you go, the quicker you adapt or die. And the plot is not a doorstopper, nor does it pretend to be. You are guy who gon teach the aliens lesson and doesn't afraid of anything. It's scaffolding for the gameplay, and that's fine. And now the part where I stop being nice. Game-breaking bugs. Softlocks. Enemies that get stuck and become immortal, which is a fun word for "your run is dead and so is your evening." A chest system that is still - still - broken. You've already got limited gameplay, and when half of it is held together by hope and a single stuck enemy can bin your whole run, the will to start over evaporates. And you start over a lot. I've said plenty about the repetition - it's the same loop, again and again, and eventually the shine goes. Here's the thing, though: I still somehow love this game. So if you've stumbled on this and feel the pull I felt, it's worth your time. It costs less than a single microtransaction in games that should be ashamed of themselves, and there's real staying power here if you sink your teeth in. Just know the teeth occasionally fall out, and nobody's coming to fix them.
Great core gameplay loop. Bit chaotic beyond sensibility at higher levels, but it's good. Great for Dead Cells lovers.
And interesting idea for a roguelite where every level is cylinder filled with things to explore, when you shoot it would travel in a 360 cylinder too. It is definitely an interesting perspective for a game of it's type.
Только в играх 90-х хотя бы был интересный сюжет - Comix Zone, Streets Of Rage, Battletoads, Eatworm Jim. Disney’s Aladdin...
