I like this game. It speaks to me in ways I can't put into words. Environments are well done, and the atmosphere and creepy mood are everywhere. The one thing I don't like is that I accidentally pressed New Game when I started the game up, and I wish there weren't an auto-save right at the start. I had to redo the game. Maybe put that auto-save when the game starts, or have it be manual at those checkpoints, so you don't punish the button mashers. Outside of these things, I liked my time with it. Everything is so interesting and right up my alley. The cover art immediately spoke to me and made me want it. Very attention-grabbing of you to perfect effect!

Reminds me a lot of an old-school flash game but with a lot more polish to it. Definitely worth checking out for fans of metroidvanias.
Orange Moon is a 2D action platformer with a sci-fi setting that was sleeping in my library for some years now. I wasn't so sure how it would turn out while i was doing the first level, but as i continued through the game i was enjoying it. The game offer around 5 hour of gameplay with no real replayability (other than achievement hunting) The ambiance is great, the art style is pretty good and what i really liked is the story. There ain't a lot of dialog but the overall story was good enough for me. I actually kinda wish there were more story. Just logs that could be found that explain what happened before your arrival would be great. So in the end i got introduce to a cool looking planet with a good story, but i was left wanting to know more about it. Mechanic wise, the game is doing okay, but nothing more. Enemies are not hard to deal with given you use the correct weapon against them. Some weapon are pretty much useless, i ended up only using 1 or 2 weapon out of the 5 the game has to offer. Overall, i did enjoy my playthrough, i just wished there was more details on this good story. If its on sales, or you are really into that kind of game and want to support a solo dev, i would recommend it. 7/10
good game but i got cheated out of the end of the game by a checkpoint that locks my health at nearly 0 and there's a required damage section and i didn't feel like replaying the entire level so i guess the game isn't that good (shrug)

Seems good on paper, horribly executed, though. Controls, especially. Far too irritating to continue playing. Visuals and mood are never enough when basic mechanics are disappointingly wobbly and jerky.
