Opus Magnum is the latest open-ended puzzle game from Zachtronics, the creators of SpaceChem, Infinifactory, and SHENZHEN I/O. Design and build machines that assemble potions, poisons, and more using the alchemical engineer’s most advanced tool: the transmutation engine!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 10 → 5/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun Puzzle game
다른 공장게임과는 차별성이 있음
Opus Magnum is a stellar puzzle game. I've beaten the main campaign of the game, and there is no shortage of brain twisting puzzles to complete in this game. What I like most about Opus Magnum is that the game is not about just solving the puzzles, it's about solving them in an elegant way. Nearly every puzzle can be solved easily by just using a bunch of arms and tracks, and you would technically "win", but of course the solution would be costly and take lots of time and area. What's so satisfying about Opus Magnum is finding an elegant solution that works so well and uses less parts and area. Watching your machine work after you've spent 15-30 minutes perfecting it is an awesome feeling. Opus Magnum is one of the greats in the puzzle genre.
很棒的游戏,使我的大脑旋转
An incredibly clever puzzler. Side note reading some reviews: Do peple *know* that chasing high scores is just for fun? It's not like they do anything ingame. Don't let tryharding ruin your fun, man.
Zachtronics released a new DLC for Opus Magnum, just over 8 years after its initial release. With that new DLC, I figured I would go back and play through the rest of the 40-odd original levels given I enjoyed my time with the game, but go distracted. Like most Zachtronics games, Opus Magnum is a automation programming game. You need to use a series of mechanisms like mechanical arms, and connector and converter nodes to take a series of beads representing alchemical elements and create a bonded structure as the product, and then be able to repeat. The aim is to create the quickest, cheapest and smallest machine to create the product. That all being said, upon my re-attempt at playing the game, I couldn't finish it. The difficulty scaled well enough, and going back to early levels, you do find more efficient way to finish them. But I progressed through 90% of the main game’s chapters and very suddenly hit the end of my enjoyment. Every new level started to feel like getting a painful new project at work, rather than a puzzle I could enjoy. So, I never ended up never playing the DLC which was my initial driver for jumping back in.
It's interesting to think about.
