Opus Magnum is the latest open-ended puzzle game from Zachtronics, the creators of SpaceChem, Infinifactory, and SHENZHEN I/O. Design and build machines that assemble potions, poisons, and more using the alchemical engineer’s most advanced tool: the transmutation engine!
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 10 → 5/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

game so good i played it 100 times
Puzzles are smart, mechanics are intuitive on their own, and solutions feel incredible complex on a systemic level
Opus Magnum is an absolute legend of the puzzle genre. I can’t stop playing. My brain hurts, my chores await, but I can see how this machine could be 3.5% faster - and I won’t stop until, after an hour of work, it has been rebuilt from scratch just to be on top of my friends’ leaderboard.

brain game
This is masterpiece. I love it. After the first chapter, puzzles are becoming more challenging, especially if you want to make the solution the most optimal (you can see histograms for each level, so you know how much space for optimization left). What more, the dialogues in the story line are hilarious!! Love this game, wouldn't guess in advance I'd love it so much! Completed first chapter so far, looking forward to more puzzle solving
Absolute Masterpiece.
I'm over here pondering my orb I got runes on my orb right now, just pondering my orb. I'm magic as ♥♥♥♥ man, I'm a wizard man.
Fun Game
Never have liked automation games, as they all were very hard to understand and get into, but this one just did something right It is both approachable and challenging without being repetitive, and very easy to understand and get into There aren't many games that are easy to learn but so hard to master like this, definitely Zachtronics' best game to date
awesome game but lacks quite some qol
