Opus Magnum is the latest open-ended puzzle game from Zachtronics, the creators of SpaceChem, Infinifactory, and SHENZHEN I/O. Design and build machines that assemble potions, poisons, and more using the alchemical engineer’s most advanced tool: the transmutation engine!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 10 → 5/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tickles your brain in a really good way
The little eureka moments as you think of ways to make your solutions smaller, cheaper and faster is fun. And it's nice that the game doesn't give you any constant rewards or goals, it's all up to the player. I've played other similar games where the game says something like "Solve the puzzle in less than 132 cycles for a gold medal" which feels frustrating, like you need to copy the designer's exact solution to win the game. But this game feels rewarding and fun, and it's up to you how much of a perfectionist you want to be.

THIS A GOOD GAME. as a player who is easily impressed from big complex machines this game is perfect, and discovering a new game like this learning it and making big machines that you look back on with a shocked face is just an amazing feeling that everyone needs to feel from time to time. so thanks.
Im over here pondering my orbs n shi, making little contraptions n shi, i'm alchemy as ♥♥♥♥ bro i'm a freak For real though this game is fantastic, my personal favourite Zachtronics game
Relatively straight-forward puzzle game that has a great deal of depth (if you care about optimization). There are some UI QoL elements that could be improved but it's very workable (albeit read some third party docs about some hotkeys and whatnot that aren't well documented elsewise). And it's sooo pretty...
