About

Be sure to join the OPERATOR Discord server to keep up with the latest news, squad up with fellow operators, and have fun!
In OPERATOR, you will play as an elite Tier 1 operator undergoing dangerous clandestine operations all across the globe. With a strategic, measured, and unforgiving style of gameplay. OPERATOR aims to be the ultimate tactical shooter with total realism in mind. Featuring realistic weapon handling, ballistics, injury, gore, and active ragdolls.
In OPERATOR, what you see is what you get... literally. We’ve redefined first-person gameplay by ensuring the first-person perspective is seamlessly connected to your character in the world. Unlike traditional FPS games, where floating viewmodels represent your hands and weapons, OPERATOR renders your character’s full body in the first-person view. Every movement, every action, and every detail you see is exactly as it would appear to any other player in the environment. Leaning around a corner or aiming your weapon feels natural because it’s not an isolated animation—it’s procedural, simulating your character moving in the world. Physically Interacting with doors, your weapons occupying realistic space, you need to take every small detail into consideration when operating downrange.
OPERATOR also has a fully in-depth and unique adjustable crouch, lean and stance system. Using your mouse to finely control the exact angle you need. No more over lean or over crouching, the perfect angle is in your grasp. In addition to this we have implemented a high and low ready system for your firearms to rest your arm stamina and to avoid flagging fellow operators in the field. With in depth weapon collision systems, variable movement speed, manual operation of firearms, shoulder tapping, physical door interactions and plently more fine details OPERATOR has many unique and innovative mechanics not seen in any other tactical shooter.
When operating downrange, you’re just one cog in a machine. Work with your fellow operators to achieve mission success all over the globe. Your success hinges on seamless coordination and communication, from urban close-quarters combat to wide-open terrain in hostile environments, teamwork is the key to survival and victory.
Your weapon isn’t just a tool—it’s a reflection of the way you operate.
Use a wide range of weapon attachments to personalize your firearm and tune it to whatever your mission might require. Strip the gun down to the receiver and build it from the ground up. No limitations. You define what's tactical.
The battlefield is in your hands. Use the environment to your advantage, along with a diverse range of special purpose tools and assets, such as tactical grenades, battering rams, hammers, and an ISR feed with thermal imagery continuously informing you on the atmospherics inside your Area of Operations.
The laptop located in the armory is where you plan out and execute your missions, offering full control over your missions and tactical planning. From here, you can select active operations or dive into simulation mode to refine your skills.
Choose from a variety of high-stakes, real-world missions around the globe. Use pre-gathered intelligence to influence your planning, and get a full picture of the area of operation. Decide on your ingress specifics, including the time of day and infiltration point, ensuring you have the perfect setup for your team’s strategy.
After completing every operation you can choose to replay them using the simulation mode in the tactical operations hub. This mode also allows you to change the parameters of the mission including enemy count, enemy difficulty and more.
Also under the simulations category are the PVP “Force on Force” game modes, where you can fight your friends in multiple different settings. Being both casual and competitive it can deliver a whole other perspective of being an operator.
Dive into the PvP modes, where every match is fast, intense, and tactical. Team Deathmatch rewards cooperation and strategy, while Free-for-All puts your individual skills to the test. With fluid mechanics and dynamic maps, OPERATOR offers both casual fun and competitive thrills, ensuring every match is a high-stakes challenge.
Refine your skills at the shooting range including a fully randomised shoot house. Randomising the layout and targets active including non targets. With a built in timer and history of previous runs you can see yourself improve in real time.

its like it ready or not and ground branch had a child and that child grew up to achieve there parents goals better than both
This game is absolutely fantastic. The gun play is the best I have experienced. It has incredible weapon customization that allows you to make almost anything your heart could desire; I am eager to see how they expand the weapon selection in the future. The AI is by the far the most intelligent and engaging I have ever encountered. They hide under and behind objects, they engage you from far distances, they flank you, they hurl insults at you before they pop your head smoove off, ect. The missions are diverse and unique and difficult. I have only played the game solo so far, so I would presume it may be less punishing with more people; but from my experience it requires intense focus, risk reward analyses, solid understanding of proper tactical movement, and very small mistakes can result in death. Everything in this game is manual. It does not baby feed you any information and I love it. From racking your gun to put a bullet in the chamber to manually removing your magazine to see if you have ammo, you must do it all yourself. It is one of my favorite features in the game as it allows for zero HUD and absolute immersion. Do not change your ways developers or developer, please. Those that call action to change this should not be your target audience. Your game is unique and very enjoyable, don't conform. Unfortunately I have to play on the lowest possible settings due to poor PC, but I hear that the graphics are absolutely serviceable. I could continue singing the praises of this game for very long, but I will stop here. If you are welcoming to a much more challenging but rewarding type of game, try this out. It is far worth the money when compared to other 80$ "Triple A" booty cheek games. PS: I have experienced no glitches. This game is still early access and is probable to expand in the future. PS PS: I wanna specify that doing everything manually is still intuitive and easy to play if you change some keybinds around. Fiddle with keybinds for a few minutes and everything is very natural.
This game is very fun. but when u get into the finer details you realize that it is a mess, as no matter what you do to a gun the the only affected thing is the weight. meaning your fully made delta/seal looking gun preforms worse then a M4 with no stock and a 30x zoom. other then that game is fun
BEST in its genre. Way better than the other game that's been in development for over a decade & STILL is a mess. IYKYK. Seriously, this game is ton's of fun. I've enjoyed every minute. Gameplay is very addictive, movement is unmatched. 10/10
Very good game.
not a game you want to play solo, I like to compare ready or not with this game because they are somewhat similar. RoN has a difficulty setting and ai squad for those who like to play by themselves. The ai enemies are far more difficult to fight against, playing solo is borderline impossible. also be prepared for manually racking any of your guns before each fight or you'll be swung. The game can be fun but my god theres gotta be some sort of balance for people who dont have friends who play the game
So far this is great! Runs great but I do have a beefy system. I dont know if the Dev likes the comparison to ground branch but they did way more in such less time and its better imo. Please add AI teamates for single player eventually even if you rip the style of arma or ready or not that would make this peak. My only main complaint right now as i know its early access is the bolt rack key, maybe make a settings toggle that auto racks on empty. this is a mil sim but some qol stuff like that would make it smoother as a game imo. I dont mean get rid of it but give the option to have it auto rack. Its early access so i know its going to have some pains but I bought this for my self and two friends just to support. please keep up the great work and progress! So far freaking great!
