Game is full of potential, and even in the early state that it is, its still super fun. Feels like Running with Rifles, mixed with Squad.

Really well made game by a small Dev team. I love how involved the Dev team is, and how great the player base is. I really like that the Squad Leader can place more than one spawn point.

Its an okay game, but there is barely, if any players online anymore. There will be no future updates to this game, so I cannot recommend you buying it.

I refunded the game, not because it's bad. Just that there was only 1 mode and there was only 1 player on when I tried it. The game seems good itself, it just needs more of a community that plays to keep this game alive. This game is exactly squad rules with foxhole type gameplay. There is AI to take over for the lack of players, but they're not great. This game has a lot of potential, but it's just not something I'd put squad down to play with where it's currently at. But it's not bad enough to give it a bad review. If you don't mind a game where you're up against AI, I'd def recommend this game. I was told real players form games from time to time, but I just know I would never be around if/when those happen. Kind of felt misled by the other reviews, so hope this gives more realistic expectations when buying this game

I am a complete top down tactical shooter noob and I never get into Foxhole. It was too complicated and never get the fun. But in this one, it's the complete opposite. I love this game ! Yeah, the playerbase isn't there yet and it's a small development team, but they've created something fun. It's more like a top down squad/battlefield type of game and even if you're a noob (like me), you can get into it. It's all about fun - and yes, this game is a lot of fun - and for this price, absolutely cheap (I bought the supporter pack btw). Try the demo, get an idea how the game works - but keep in mind, the demo shows only the offline tutorial and shoothouse part ... so you have an good understanding how the full game feel. The developers are also awesome and working on things to make our experience much better. Give it a try ! (Feel free to visit the official discord. It's absolutely worth it !)

I really enjoy this game. I honestly wouldn't think that I would enjoy a top down tactical shooter like this, but OV is a bit different. The Squad Leader being able to build habs or partial bases literally anywhere is really where the game shines for me. It genuinely changes the battlefield. I have played a lot of games where the Squad Leader isn't that important, but OV has changed that. The way the building is executed is also interesting. There is a system where there isn't just infinite materials, you actually have to plan when and where to build. I genuinely enjoy this. Honestly there are no real negatives I have to say. I'm not usually a top down guy I will reiterate, but I have enjoyed my time with OV through the betas, into release immensely. If you are in the market for a new game, this is worth every penny. The devs are SUPER communicative, which I appreciate.

I played this for review: https://youtu.be/8n85MUsmnAk I got into a couple of games with MillsMF a twitch streamer and had some good games, It's a fun little top down shooter that get better the more players are in a match, definitely worth playing and can't wait to see what is turns into over time. PS: the devs are really friendly and have a great discord channel.
