⚠️WARNING⚠️Sweet Baby Inc DETECTED. CONTAMINATED characters & story. Uses the FPS ruining Scam DRM Denuvo, making it Always Online Chyneez spyware. Multiplayer ranked unplayable due to rampant & BLATANT cheating -The Genuinely Godlike Genius Game Reviewer
Very good game. The artstyle and gameplay are very simple and reminiscent of old vpet games. Combat is smooth and quick. Cannot comment on music bc i played this during class but will later edit later if possible. I do have some slight issues. The aiming system is very difficult to get a grasp on and i have dropped many a combo by it choosing to attack in the opposite direction of where i am pointing. I have also dropped so many combos by killing either a Jersey Devil or a Loch Ness Monster as ,I have no idea if this is a bug or not, it just doesn't count toward the combo meter for some reason. BUT there is mothman so maybe i can look over that. Also i want a marketable plushie of the ooga booga baby to punt like a football. 8/10 EDIT V1.0.1: The bug involving the boss monsters has been fixed and I can safely say that the music and the sound effects are extremely crisp and good. Love it to death.

I have ooga'd, booga'd, and even dare I say battled my way onto the leaderboards. OBB plays like if survivorlikes had first started on LCD handhelds that you cashed your tickets in for at the local arcade, and this is only a compliment. The chunky sprites and combat feel are a nice contrast to the plethora of other offerings in the genre, standing out thanks to its unique pet raising component. Also the dev is actively updating it, with no signs of slowing down- including adding new features! Also, like, it's free. It's literally free. You can play a quality game for free (with people going absolutely nutso on those leaderboards)
[*] Game Complexity: You train your character with minigames and then you shoot to enemies. [*] Game Difficulty: Very Easy. [*] Achievements Complexity: You need to do specific training methods, some actions and some combo kills. [*] Achievements Difficulty: Only the combo kills are a little hard to complete.

charming
Good game
I LOVE the visual style! The baddies look awesome and take me back to playing with Digimon Digivices and other virtual pets. (Also, that credits theme goes WAY too hard for a credits theme. Hell yeah.) A few bugs that might need fixing: - Enemies can spawn outside the playable area, but Flatwoods Monster can still shoot them, which feels unintentional. - Giant Nessie flickering in and out / disappearing—bug or intentional? Some suggestions just for fun: - Add consequences for not feeding baby monster. Maybe the baby becomes some kind of monster of death? - Add some way to show which way the battler will attack. - Add ability to find health potions in the field during battle. - Make the right-side buttons functional—maybe as an Easter egg? Overall, I had fun and am happy to see that there's still love for virtual pet games. Nice work! :D
Very short and nice. Achievements are insane requirements to complete. Hope for controller support in the future but SteamInput is good enough for now..
