Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Even better than the first one...except the mini game where you have to rotate the directional sticks to raise the shutter for the plane. That was abysmal.
This game is insanely difficult. Much more than the first one. The infinite respawn of enemies are kinda annoying, but the real problem is the camera angles constantly changing during the boss fights. It was fun though.
This capcom classic is as fantastic as it was when it came out, even the graphics and art direction is 1.class even with today's standards - Feudal Japan looks and feels authentic.

An amazing sequel that not only upgrades and vastly improves the formula of the first game. Amazing cutscenes, a heavy story-focused narrative, and direction. Interaction with characters opens the variability in routes that empowers the replayability. The fighting system wasn't improved as much as other aspects, but it still feels a lot deeper and more variable than the first game. Highly recommend; sadly, there are no Demon Siege or Dawn of Dreams Remastered and ported to PC. It would be great to see how the franchise proceeded from this entry.
Gut.
I remember this game fondly from my childhood. It has great replay ability, cheesy story, and classic capcom controls and puzzles. I think I enjoyed the first game more, and hope they bring the third game out as well to complete the trilogy. Runs as expected given the game's vintage and lack of graphical upgrades.
Nota 8/10
I really enjoyed Onimusha: Warlords and was excited to try this one, but it ended up being a huge letdown for me. The graphics and pre-rendered backgrounds are beautiful, and the sound is good, but that's mostly it. Although the story provides a samurai movie-like feel, I disliked how disjointed it was. It's also much more comical, which I didn't mind too much, but it definitely took away the tone of the first game. I also expected the Resident Evil-esque gameplay that the first had, but was disappointed to see that they kind of threw that out. As a whole, the game felt quite tedious to me. I did not like the gifting system, and farming gold for the items became quite boring. The enemies also respawn off-screen far too frequently, making things more annoying than enjoyable. The bosses are cheap, dragged out, and uninteresting, especially the final boss. Finally, even though I generally do not mind or even love fixed camera angles, it was poorly implemented here and allows the enemies to obscure your view a lot. I bought this on discount at $19 CAD and still feel like it was not worth my money. I know some people consider Onimusha 2 the best in the series, but it just was not for me.
