Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is a fantastic example of Capcom's PS2-era creativity. It mixes historical Japan with demons, samurai action, dark fantasy and a surprising amount of personality. While it is not as scary as the first game, it replaces the horror atmosphere with a more action-focused adventure full of memorable characters. The biggest strength of the game is definitely its atmosphere and characters. Jubei Yagyu is a great protagonist, inspired by legendary Japanese actor Yusaku Matsuda, and the entire cast feels unique. The friendship system is still one of the most interesting ideas in the series. Your choices, gifts and interactions with companions can change how much they participate in the story and what rewards you receive. The combat system is simple but satisfying. It is not as deep as games like Devil May Cry, but mastering counters, critical attacks and the famous Issen technique gives a lot of satisfaction. Learning enemy patterns and defeating enemies with perfect timing still feels great even today. The remaster improves many things, including higher-resolution backgrounds, modern controls, extra mini-games and Steam Deck support. The game runs extremely well, but the PC version also has some problems. The lack of graphical options is disappointing, the widescreen mode can cause visibility issues because the original backgrounds were designed for 4:3, and Denuvo feels unnecessary for such an old classic. The AI-upscaled backgrounds look much better than in previous Capcom remasters, although some imperfections are still visible. Unfortunately, some parts have aged. Static cameras combined with modern controls can sometimes create awkward situations, boss fights can be surprisingly frustrating, and the game has a few questionable censorship changes compared to the original release. Despite those problems, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny remains one of Capcom's most unique PS2 titles. It has style, personality, great combat and one of the most interesting companion systems from that era. Pros: + Excellent samurai atmosphere + Great protagonist and memorable companions + Unique friendship system + Fun and satisfying combat + Fantastic art direction + Great use of pre-rendered backgrounds + Issen critical attacks are extremely satisfying + Good performance, including Steam Deck support Cons: - Some bosses are frustrating - Static cameras can still cause some minor problems - Limited PC graphics options - Widescreen mode affects visibility - Some censorship changes from the original release - Companion system are not explained very well - Denuvo feels unnecessary Recommended for fans of classic Capcom games, samurai action and retro titles.

Box standart revenge story with horrible voice acting, with saturdaymorning-eque villain dialogs. Aged horribly.
打新作 Way of the Sword 的demo打上头了,刚好看到1+2在打折就买了。
Bom demais.
Resident Evil with Samurais 2. Perfection 2.
It's pretty good, had some frustrating moments but it goes with the game and made it more fun
One of the games from my childhood. While it’s true that its age shows, it still has its own charm thanks to the rendered backgrounds. If you’ve played it before, I recommend the remaster, which has no technical issues. If you haven’t played it, the story and the way the characters develop are very Asian in style, it might be a good idea to play it before the new title launches this September 2026 just to get a glimpse of what the lore was about back on the day.
