Ongaku

First off, the default music in the game is, in my personal opinion, attrocious. Its very repetitive and plain annoying. And I really just dont enjoy the game overall.

I liked the difficulty curve of the game and how the game is more fun the harder your difficulty is. I also liked that after you finish the game you're given the choice to get rid of the mechanic where you move your note up and down and can only match the directions. It's good because some players might not like this mechanic since it's quite hard to perfectly match it on harder difficulties. Last but not least I think that being able to put in your own songs, videos and images in the game and get levels generated for them is the best part of the game. Overall for this price tag this game provides you with quite a lot of options and content and can be quite fun.

This game is entertaining! I have just started playing but it is nice game to play if you want to take a break from all other serious game. I like how the environment changes in the background as you progress and not missing any notes. The difficulty curve is good too as it gives you a sense of progression and hell yeah! i can change it to my own songs which is a cool feature.

Also ich habe das Spiel während meines Krankenhausaufenthaltes gesuchtet und durfte mir von den Krankenschwestern anhören, dass es abstrackt aber malerisch wirkt! Zunächst möchte ich einmal darauf eingehen, dass meine Vorgänger kein Wort über die Storyline des Magiers Ongaku verloren haben. So möchte ich dies doch erstmal tun. Ongaku malt mit Hilfe von Musik schreckliche Szenerien in wunderschöne und wörtlich betrachtete harmonische Idyllen. Er verzaubert auf diese Weise ein graues Sinnbild der Zerstörung in einen malerischen Wald mit Tierchen die wie Musikinstrumente aussehen. Für den einen mag dies jetzt vollkommener Kitsch sein, für mich ist es mal eine neue Variante ein Musikspiel aufzusetezen. Keine fallenen Keys die man treffen muss, sondern eine Linie mit Direktions-Pfeilen, die es gilt zum Rhythmus der Musik zu treffen. Es gibt 5 Schwierigkeitsstufen und ohne DLC insgesamt 50 Levels. Von Anfänger bis richtig Schwer ist für jeden Spieler was dabei. Es gibt eine Hand voll sehr aufwendiger Errungenschaften, die aber als machbar erscheinen. Das Spiel lässt sich gut mit einem Low-End-Pc spielen. Man brauch also nicht gerade einen Gamer-PC um sich an diesem Indie erfreuen zu können. So jetzt meine Detailkritik in Punkten von 1-10 Grafik (9/10): Das Spiel verwendet gern Motive wieder, aber dafür sind die allesamt handgezeichnet und super liebevoll verarbeitet worden. Musik (10/10): Ich bin ein Fan von Klassischer Musik und diese Variante von Musik in einem Spiel wiederzufinden, wo eigentlich Rock, Pop und vor allem Elektronische Musik über dieses Genre herrschen ist sehr schön! Titel 3 klingt meiner Meinung nach ein wenig wie das Maintheme von Wild-Arms. Gameplay (8/10): Das Spiel hat hier und da einige Kinderkrankheiten so sind einige Abstände einfach zu kurz um erledigt zu werden. So müsste man kurz nach einem langen Ton direkt den kleinen Ton einmalig spielen. Allerdings ist dafür eine Ruhezeit von mindestens 2 Hundersteln notwendig, die man nur mit viel Glück aufwenden kann. Das Spiel verfügt über 4 Modis. So kann man mit der Maus als Scroller und mit den 4 Richtungstasten als Direktionen spielen. Dann gibt es noch die Varianten Oben und Unten Direktion + WASD, dann WS + Oben Unten Links und Rechts. Oder sogar noch WASD + Mausscroller. Variante 1 ist am einfachsten zu Spielen, eignet sich aber dann leider nicht für jeden Untergrund. Sonderfunktionen in diesem Spiel gibt es auch noch, so kann man seine Lieblingsmusik einfach autogenerieren lassen und sich so Abwechslung für das Spiel besorgen. Allerdings, kann man diese Songs nicht im Netz bewettstreiten, weswegen dieses Spiel für Einzelgänger, anstatt für Highscorespieler gedacht ist.

At first I thought the game was too kiddy...but then realized it's (personally) a good change of pace. It just means you can recommend this game to literally anyone at any age. The difficulty curve is quite interesting. Easy mode is indeed a breeze, but on Normal, it becomes something you have to watch out. This doesn't mean it's an unreasonable difficulty spike though; on the contrary, it feels just right. Normal is supposed to be...well, 'normal', so you ought to spend at least some time getting used to the gameplay first, and then have fun with it later. I haven't played on Hard yet, but looking at how much value Normal mode gives, I have no doubt it will give me a good time as well. If there's anything to complain about, I'd say the arrows are a bit difficult to see, but changing the skin fixed that problem quite nicely; it actually improves my performance switching from skin to skin as well, so I recommend buy the DLC packs if you're interested in purchasing this game. Don't worry, they're worth it.

Not my type of game maybe,but this game looks so overwhelming with the too much visuals and eyehurting + songs re boring and miss sounds re annoying af,and overall it looks like playing osu with default skin,same horrible and overwhelming expierence.

It's very very good game! My first time wasn't be very good , but about 5 minutes practice and I've done first map with max points. Dont throw this game to the trash , becasue U need practice. Like I said this is about 5-10 max 15 minutes.
