About
From the pen of former Nintendo art director turned manga artist, Takaya Imamura, and developers of the Retro Mystery Club series, Happymeal, comes a 16-bit styled retro-future, adventure, infused with RPG elements: OMEGA 6: The Triangle Stars.

A Turbulent Quest for the Ultimate Treasure
Follow the adventures of Thunder and Kyla on their spaceship, Omega 6: two androids entrusted with discovering a new planet for the human race to inhabit. But before they find mankind's new home, they must locate the ultimate treasure in some ancient ruins to pay off... a planetary loan?! Their quest will take them to three different planets, the first planet is Impostar, a planet filled with aliens from all four corners of space. The second planet is Igni, a fiery planet with a harsh environment. The third planet is Froslara, a planet as frozen as its residents are rich.
And on every planet, new encounters and incidents await!

Over 100 aliens! An adventure combo-meal of mystery & drama!
During your treasure hunt, unexpected encounters await at every turn via random events. You can explore freely while working as a bounty hunter, delivery person, or just shopping for items: how to play is up to you. For the completionists, there's a gallery to record all the intergalactic rogues you meet, sub-missions, and training where you can battle powerful opponents! Contrary to its name, space is very full!

Battle rival treasure hunters and a plethora of aliens in card-based battles!
Treasure attracts trouble, leading to card-based battles with anyone from rival treasure hunters to unknown aliens lurking about. With a set number of cards in your hand, read through your opponent’s strategy and forge a path to absolute victory! Inside your spaceship is a bonsai that bears fruits. Use them to boost your abilities or switch your opponent’s hand with yours. This bonsai also bears Magic Fruits, which will hold tremendous powers, but use them at your own risk!

Story
Earth, somewhere in the distant future.
Thanks to a technology that extends the average lifespan up to about 400 years, humanity lives comfortably, despite the societal problems associated with an aging populace.
Then, one day, a wormhole appeared suddenly near Mars. Via this phenomenon, Earth saw an influx of aliens and, before anybody realized, all the planet’s major cities were occupied by these migratory extra-terrestrials.
Concerned with this situation, Dr Victor Franklin, a leading researcher on longevity, decides to search for a second Earth. In order to that humanity may thrive once again thrive once their new home was found, he creates two androids, Thunder and Kyla, and sends them in on their quest aboard the Omega 6 spacecraft.
And thus began Thunder and Kyla's long and extraordinary adventures.

love omega 6 feels like major throw back to the old point n click adventure pc games of 90s so much charm story is intrestn
Being a huge fan of Takaya Imamura, the art director behind Star Fox & F-Zero, Omega 6 didn't disappoint. Its a fun, silly, and cozy game that heavily feels like something that would have come from the Snes & the graphic design by Mr. Imamura here really shines through. Omega 6 is a work of art & I highly recommend giving this lovely game a go!
I enjoyed it! A short, but charming sci-fi game that would fit right in the SNES era, from its artstyle that reminds me of that StarFox and F-Zero (not coincidentally, they share the same art creator), to its bizzarre characters a là Earthbound or Futurama, and its clunky UI like that of the point and click games of that era. The story is straightforward and a bit humorous. The battle system is simple, basically it's a card-based rock, paper and scissor game with some sprinkle of buffs and heal.
First impressions of Omega 6 - those who have fond memories of the early-mid 90s point and click adventure games will love this, especially if you have a penchant for sci-fi from the same era. This almost has the feel of a lost SNES classic that never got localised in the West. However, I feel this cuts both ways as the interface also seems to be also very much early-mid 90s. Having said that, am loving the art style and sound design - this game has a lot of personality and makes me yearn for the RPG days of old. Am very much looking forward to playing more.
Fun point-n-click adventure with a silly story and fun characters. Pros: -Nostalgia for old games -Fun Retro Art -Lots of shops and stuff to buy with money -They introduce new stuff at a good pace -Great value if you buy on sale! Cons: -Battling gets old after awhile -Some infrequent swearing if you don't like that sorta thing -A few glitches -Moving around is tedious
So far so good, haven't played as much as I would've liked although it's a fun RPG like game.
The closest thing to a brand new Super Nintendo game from Nintendo. Check it out it rules
