About
From the pen of former Nintendo art director turned manga artist, Takaya Imamura, and developers of the Retro Mystery Club series, Happymeal, comes a 16-bit styled retro-future, adventure, infused with RPG elements: OMEGA 6: The Triangle Stars.

A Turbulent Quest for the Ultimate Treasure
Follow the adventures of Thunder and Kyla on their spaceship, Omega 6: two androids entrusted with discovering a new planet for the human race to inhabit. But before they find mankind's new home, they must locate the ultimate treasure in some ancient ruins to pay off... a planetary loan?! Their quest will take them to three different planets, the first planet is Impostar, a planet filled with aliens from all four corners of space. The second planet is Igni, a fiery planet with a harsh environment. The third planet is Froslara, a planet as frozen as its residents are rich.
And on every planet, new encounters and incidents await!

Over 100 aliens! An adventure combo-meal of mystery & drama!
During your treasure hunt, unexpected encounters await at every turn via random events. You can explore freely while working as a bounty hunter, delivery person, or just shopping for items: how to play is up to you. For the completionists, there's a gallery to record all the intergalactic rogues you meet, sub-missions, and training where you can battle powerful opponents! Contrary to its name, space is very full!

Battle rival treasure hunters and a plethora of aliens in card-based battles!
Treasure attracts trouble, leading to card-based battles with anyone from rival treasure hunters to unknown aliens lurking about. With a set number of cards in your hand, read through your opponent’s strategy and forge a path to absolute victory! Inside your spaceship is a bonsai that bears fruits. Use them to boost your abilities or switch your opponent’s hand with yours. This bonsai also bears Magic Fruits, which will hold tremendous powers, but use them at your own risk!

Story
Earth, somewhere in the distant future.
Thanks to a technology that extends the average lifespan up to about 400 years, humanity lives comfortably, despite the societal problems associated with an aging populace.
Then, one day, a wormhole appeared suddenly near Mars. Via this phenomenon, Earth saw an influx of aliens and, before anybody realized, all the planet’s major cities were occupied by these migratory extra-terrestrials.
Concerned with this situation, Dr Victor Franklin, a leading researcher on longevity, decides to search for a second Earth. In order to that humanity may thrive once again thrive once their new home was found, he creates two androids, Thunder and Kyla, and sends them in on their quest aboard the Omega 6 spacecraft.
And thus began Thunder and Kyla's long and extraordinary adventures.

This game is like if a time warp opened up from 30 years ago and a lost pc-98 game fell through it. If the words MARINE PHILT or Season of Sakura mean anything to you, well you'll know what you're in for. If you've ever played Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom, you know what's up. If you made it through Nocturnal Illusion, you'll feel right at home. For the uninitiated, visual novels used to require you to endlessly click and exhaust every option to progress. There was no indication how many times you could choose an option, so you just clicked a random option until you got the same message twice and then move on. This game design has been dead for about 20 years when it was replaced with 'just have way too many words'. Every moment of this game is agony as you try to guess what will progress the story and impatiently click through text you've already read (be sure to set the speed to instant, in classic style the default speed is torture). The menus are painful to navigate. A really great localization could've made the story amazing, but the translation is only boring nonsense. And yet, I cannot hate it. Not just because the art is hypnotic but because this is not a game, this is a monument to a time that no longer exists. A time that whatever poor soul made this game remembers and thinks fondly of, but everyone else has mostly forgotten. Some day, and perhaps it has already happened, no one will remember that there ever were games like this. Games driven by a manga artist with a dream who may never have played a game in their lives but still wants to share their vision with an unsuspecting world.
I like this game! Did you ever notice how like every other character in F-Zero is a bounty hunter? This game really feels like that side of F-Zero. No racing of course, just strolling around playing Rock Paper Scissors with all kinds of fun weirdos. IDK how close I am to the end, but I'm in love with the setting, I love the combat, and I guess I'm gonna have to buy the manga when that comes out too. It may not be for everyone! The UI is a little clunky, and I've heard some people aren't into the RPS side of it. But if you can hang with that I think you'll have a good time. Be sure to switch the text scroll to "instant!" The default text scroll speed is miserably slow, "instant" switches it to the usual sort where you can press a button to speed through it.
I've only gotten past the prologue and what I would call chapter 1, but I can already say that this game is going to be excellent. It's dripping with the charm old Nintendo games had (with plenty of references too, tons of caricatures of Nintendo characters can be seen all over the place) and the characters are full of charm. I got the same feeling as playing an Ace Attorney game for the first time, but with the charm of Imamura's artistic style that is still very reminiscent of his time at Nintendo. If you're liked any of the games like F-Zero, Star Fox, Majora's Mask, or Ace Attorney, you're going to have a great time.
Criminal that a game like this is barely getting any attention. There's nostalgic games, but this game really feels straight of the 90s with its bizarre characters and plot along with whimsical, joyful vibes. Combine that with the treasure trove of top-notch artwork from the guy that made the coolest nintendo characters EVER, and yeah it's a no brainer. Gameplay isn't bad either, although it's certainly niche.
Fate/EXTRA but developed by Nintendo EAD during 1990s.
sooooo much reading ........... i got bored after 10 minutes and the sound of the words are annoying.
Charming, charming, charming all the way! I'm only on the second planet, but I don't think anything could spoil the experience. 100% retro atmosphere, I'm just smiling constantly (like a child!). Great characters, weird & funny story, catchy music. Can't help but love it. The "combat" mechanics are a bit simple, and a bit boring to be honest, but it doesn't detract from the core experience. Made with so much love. And you can feel it.
love omega 6 feels like major throw back to the old point n click adventure pc games of 90s so much charm story is intrestn
Charming game, excellent soundtrack, oozing of that Nintendo charm. It's a shame it wasn't marketed better. It's worth playing especially if you like point and click adventure games. 9/10 will play again ♪♪♪
