Odyssey of the Explorer: An artistic adventure Visual design: "Odyssey of the Explorer" has finally been released today, and the visual design is impressive. The protagonist Ellen and the other characters are beautifully illustrated, each character exuding unique charm and personality. The surreal landscapes of the planet are fascinating and invite you to explore. The developers have created a true work of art here, making every stage of Ellen's journey a visual delight. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3250938781 Gameplay and story: The game offers an exciting mix of hack-and-slash action and gripping story elements. You fight your way through hordes of bizarre creatures and are repeatedly rewarded with impressive cutscenes that drive the plot forward. This seamless integration of plot and gameplay ensures that you always stay motivated and want to know what happens next. The 3D labyrinth, which is explored from the third-person perspective and gives the game an innovative twist, is particularly unique. Controls and Combat System: Ellen's controls are intuitive, and the combat system, while not too complex, offers combo strikes and is accessible to both new and experienced players. There is also a training level designed to help players master the combat mechanics. Additional weapons such as a pistol may be added in future updates. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3250939166 Issues and Developer Feedback: I noticed a few issues while playing, such as enemies getting stuck in walls and the maze becoming too frustrating. These issues can affect the flow of the game and the fun. On the positive side, however, the developers are open to feedback, suggesting that these issues will be addressed in future updates. Features and Exploration: The game does not currently offer a crafting system or adjustable difficulty, instead focusing on a stress-free experience where players can enjoy the story. The surreal landscapes are detailed and varied, with hidden areas and secrets to discover, enriching the exploration experience. Story and replay value: Ellen's story is complemented by two supporting characters who appear in cutscenes. The developer plans to expand the game's content, including more worlds, at no additional cost. Future updates may introduce power-ups and ranged weapons, increasing replay value. Developer and community commitment: The developer's commitment to continuous improvement and community feedback is clear to see. Although this is their first game, the passion and dedication to creating an enjoyable gaming experience are evident. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3258750541 Conclusion: Despite minor flaws, "Odyssey of the Explorer" offers a unique and engaging gaming experience with fantastic graphics, dynamic gameplay, and an interesting story. I was entertain curious what will come next
This is an amazing game. I have very much enjoyed playing it. The graphics are very impressive, I love the day and night shift where in the night objects have a nice glow. The created planet has awesome landscapes that just beg you to explore them. The story really ads to the gaming experience, as does the music which is very well picked. The change in music indicates you are entering the end game for that level. The controls and combat is easy to learn, and fighting the monsters is fun, their strenght increases with each level as might be expected. All in all this hack&slash game just puts the fun back in gaming. Well done!
This game is rocky, but great. The first level has nice design, the landscape looks great, but its clunky. the dialogue boxes appear based on a location, so they will disappear and reappear whenever you go to that spot. The dialogue in the cut scenes was far slower than the dialogue of the text boxes in game. Then, when the scene is done it just stops and you have to press the next button way down in the bottom right corner of the screen. The maze level left much to be desired, the floor is just plain and blue and the goal is to run through and touch some switches. This game was definitely put together by a small team, but they did a great job. The story was a bit quick, but it was a short game. I enjoyed the main character and the villain. Keep it up and keep getting better.
game looks well designed... love the graphic and story line. Looking forward to completing the levels.
Jogo muito divertido, com muito potencial para crescer e ficar cada vez mais desafiador! Vale a pena conferir! Very fun game, with a lot of potential to grow and become increasingly challenging! It is worth checking!
