Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Now that i've 100%-ed this game, I'll give my opinion on it, since I was also skeptical at first about this one after precedent entries of the Octopath serie. Yes, the pacing and the way that the game tells you its story is VERY different from what you've experienced in OT1&2. In fact, it has almost nothing to share with the previous entries in terms of narration, writting and storytelling. While some say it's what made Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 incredible games (which I agree), it doesn't mean at all that the way Zero does it is bad. It's just different, way more classical, but still extremely good because it's still an Octopath Traveler's writting level. You may appreciate and connect to the different travellers very differently to previous entries, and to be fair, most of them are non so relevant in terms of story (in the first half of the game though). But other characters (who sometimes become playable characters later in the game !) are so well written and interesting to follow and connect to, heck I loved the storyline connected to Bargello, to the royal family of Cragspear, to the different vilains you encounter through the game, it has nothing to be ashamed of in comparison of previous traveller's story in OT1&2, like Primerose, Oswald, Therion... And for once, having your OWN story of YOUR character is something appreciable that allows the story to be driven very far and very well (which could sometimes be lacking in previous entries, especially OT1 which is 8 totally separated stories, which can be hard or unpleasant for some players). I'd like also to mention that this game is the most connected to the lore this serie has ever been, so it was very pleasant to understand it more and more, way more than in OT1 (which I guess is retconed / parrallel story of Zero now ?) Meanwhile, in terms of pure RPG gameplay, this one is by far the richest and most formidable of the 3. Combats are dynamic, you have lots of way to play around ennemies and bosses, build's customization is through the roof in mid-late game, optionnal quests and stuff to do beside the story is absurdly high, I never saw the end of it before my 120th hour of game, and you have so many travellers to choose from its almost impossible to not find what you want to play. Even level design, especially in late game, succeed to give the player something new and refreshing (even if sometimes it can be a bit tidious) Of course, that doesn't mean the game's perfect, but just like OT1&2. In this one, I really disliked all the storyline of "Master of All" which i found to be quite boring and super long for nothing. But hey, we had Tressa's storyline in OT1 which was the most random and boring out of all OT's stories, and in OT2 we had Agnea's who's only good chapter is the 4th. I have several friends who stopped at "Master of All" because of that, and that's SO SAD because everything afterward is pure gold in my opinion. First chapters can also be seen as pretty simple, but that makes the ending and the setup they do even better in my opinion. The whole building back your village thing can be appreciated for some kind of players, it wasn't meant for me, I did the bare minimum and my village looks like a bunch of lego bricks organized so I can spend the least amount of time here, but it's cool to see they tried something different that is not badly done, just not for me. And at last, despite having several recycled musics in this entry (which is by no means a real bad thing, since OT's OST is one of the best videogame soundtrack existing), all new musics are just incredible, with some being remixes of classical OT. Visuals are stunning as ever, and some boss designs are SO GORGEOUS it's unreal. To conclude, For now i'm not 100% sure if i've prefered my experience on Zero or OT2, but it definitly sky-rocketed my OT1's one. I grew attached differently to characters, and I found some moment to be less intense than others, but other than that, this game delivered, and it did it so well. I'm pretty sure some character's stories will end up being some of my favorites, way above some from OT1&2. If you have 100+h to sink in an incredible JRPG, despite having done OT1&2 or not, I can only tell you to jump right into it without hesitation, big 9/10 experience for me.
After years of not being able to get into Champions of the Continent because of mobile controls and phone limitations, I'm so so so glad I finally got to experience this story on PC As a massive fan of Octopath Traveler 1 & 2, I loved every second of this game and (at the time of writing this) i've pretty much just done the main story, around 85 hours in. I'm still definitely planning to do achievements, missed side quests, postgame content and ofcourse play around with the townbuilding Yes, it's very different from OT1&2 in various aspects of the game, but most of the changes and additions I actually quite like. The town building is great, it's nothing insanely crazy but still more than I initially thought it would be. The 8 character battle system is something I honestly would love to see more of! It adds such a fun new layer of strategy to the battles. Yes it does remove the ability to have subclasses, but it makes up for that with the learned skills, which I found very useful especially towards the latter part of the game. The protagonist creator is a bit limited, i'd have loved to see more options there, but it's still a fun thing to have for this game! I personally recreated my forgotten D&D character as my protagonist for my playthrough I also just HAVE to point out the music. Just like OT1&2, the music in this game is some of the best VGM i've heard. Both the reused tracks from previous games and the brand new tracks specifically for this game. The soundtrack is definitely a major highlight for me, just like the other octopath games If you're looking for a game exactly like OT1&2, with 8 main characters with each their own story, this might not be for you, but i'd still encourage you to try it! Especially if you've played OT1 and would love to see more of that universe, I would 100% not miss out on this game. This was an absolute blast to play and experience
great
本来想差评的,最终boss战让我原谅了一切
对于不想玩手游,又想体验手游内容的人来说可谓超值,毕竟这价格在手游啥也干不了。手游第二部不安排上吗?
A very good game. Story - I loved every second with Elrika and Alaume.. The rest is of no meaningless-his father. Gameplay - They build the option to grind almost forever to max out your party.. but in the same way miss to add endgame content.. Iam very sad about that fact. But in total a very good game. I played OT1 85 hours .. OT2 80 hours .. and OT0 75 hours .. I dont know what to suck out of this information .. but better to have it then not. :)
剧情一如既往的白开水,但是能见到老朋友的脸,我认为298是值得的
