Occultus - Mediterranean Cabal

I played the easiest mode and have Windows 10. The game ran smoothly. IMO the game is a bit of a higher difficulty, but you can use the help feature or skip puzzles & mini games. I will definitely replay it. The HOPs were interactive and original which made them interesting and challenging. I recommend for those who like variety. There is a tool that shows you where you have an available action, and lets you jump to it. Since there are a lot of locations, this is a very good thing. There is a help feature. It will also show you which way to walk. You'll have quite a bit of inventory. You can combine things within it. There is a journal.

Ero in dubbio se acquistarlo o meno vista la valutazione "nella media", poi però l'ho trovato superscontato e ho deciso di comprarlo. L'ho giocato tutto e devo ammettere di non comprendere le recensioni negative. Si tratta di un'avventura grafica con una trama lovecraftiana suggestiva, ambientazioni e audio molto gradevoli, longevità sufficiente, vari enigmi non banali e nessun bug. L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta moltissimo (ma che comunque non stonava) è la presenza dei minigiochi in cui bisogna trovare una serie di oggetti nascosti, i quali sembrano fungere un po' da riempitivo. Mi sento comunque di consigliarlo a chi piacciono le avventure grafiche e le tematiche horror/mystery.

There was some promising stuff in this, but many of the puzzles were nonsense and the instructions frequently were of little help. Also, the final revelation of the bad guys' plot is that it's utterly stupid. Only for truly hardcore fans of the form.

Graphics are outdated, some puzzles are annoying but the story is nice.

Mir hat es gefallen! Die Idee ist nicht schlecht und es gibt einige Überraschungseffekte. Es ist kein klassisches Wimmelbildspiel, es hat schon mehr Anspruch.

I got some mystery keys for a sum of money and this one of the titles from Fanatical.com that I ended up with. This is going to be rather biased simply on the premise that I can't abide games like these anyway. So I can't say I'm impressed. That said, I've never been impressed with hidden object games for a long time simply because I think the PC gaming market is simply awash with them and they are a blight upon mine eyes and have been so for nigh on just over a decade even though they've been kicking around for longer than that I'm sure. Installed, played for much less than 15 minutes, now going to uninstall and hide it from my library list. You have to be into this kind of genre of game to really feel like playing it, I'm more into FPS and racing than this stuff, so this review was never going to be a good one from the beginning anyway.
