Occult Rewrite

I bought this game coz of adult/sexual content, as advertised But there is no sexual content, except foot-fetish and edginess. Not recommend.

I'd like a bit more porn in my "Adult Only," game tyvm.

I went in expecting ecchi horror, but ended up more invested in the story itself. There were some great moments that made me go 'Oh, traditional logic bit me in the ass there, yikes..' followed by an intrigued 'I wonder what they'll throw at me next!'. This feels like a passion project through and through despite its rough edges. You might get some errors here or there (save semi-often), but from all the fixes that have been popping up it seems like the Devs are on the case. The art is great (I'm a sucker for good sprites), the music is good and the overall feel is fantastic. If you are at all intrigued, I'd say it's more than worth the price. Eagerly awaiting more! :D

ENG: Occult Rewrite is simply amazing, a visual novel overflowing originality, with its intriguing story, its pixel art graphics, even the interface feels like something completely new. Always clarify, it's not pornographic, it's erotic horror, like an ecchi anime it's not hentai. In short, really loved it and highly recommend, it has a free demo in case you are not sure.

Interesting fun occult game the characters were interesting and the story was interesting about all the different occult stories and topics that were brought up, the only downside to this game is that it seems to leave on a cliffhanger so I guess more chapters of this game will be released hopefully on a later date since there is still a lot left unexplained. if you want to buy this game I would recommend getting this game on sale since it does seem like it is unfinished at the moment and the price is a little higher then I would say its worth for the game. I did enjoy playing game however and hopefully more of the game will be released soon.

If a adult game does not actually contain any sexual content, it better make up for it with an interesting story and characters. This game has neither! What it does have, is a bunch of bad-spirited cardboard cutouts of trope characters that get to experience softcore humiliation rituals. The final nail in the coffin was the last stretch of the Game, that had a very disturbing forced transitioning & grooming section, that is played down for laughs. Truly gut wrenching stuff. In the end, any attempts by the writing to make me sympathize with the main antagonist have irredeemably been soured and made me want to erase not only the main villain, but also this game as a whole from existence. If anything, this game should be tagged as psychological horror but for all of the wrong reasons.

It's very meh, nothing is game breaking but - the writing is sophomoric, full of typos, the puzzles can be guessed/brute forced, no achievements. the art is nice, though.
