overall good for in between. can recommend it.
The art is cool, characters are mid but the gameplay is awful. Different clothing you put on characters give you power ups wich would be cool if this wasn't a porn game, people want to look at naked girls but they are forced to dress them horribly to complete the game. Speaking of power ups none of them have descriptions (the same with clothing items) so to find out what they do you have to use them first. Sometimes after beating a level you can't continue because buttons don't work. There are a lot more critisisms I have but I want to keep my reviews short Sayaka best girl
Do I recommend the game? No Do I like the game? I want to, but the game seems unpolished and unfun.
The Steam Tags
The Steam Tags are wrong! It is not a Puzzle game. It does not a have Female Protagonist. You play as a male and you help female characters though. It does not have Character Customization. You can change characters outfits though.
The Issues
Once you make a certain amount of progress, finishing a level and the accompanying scene leaves you locked on the "victory" screen with the clothing and gallery unlock buttons, where none of the buttons works and you have to force close the game. The volume setting does not lower all volume. Doing any of the Intro levels has you "do" the tutorial on how to play again. You essentially have to be told how to play the game 3 times. It is the EXACT same tutorial.
The Review
The story is nearly non-existent. The English is for the most part comprehensible, but it is clearly not the developers first language. There are phrases that a native speaker would not use and is a sign that it was word-for-word translated or even machine translated. An example is "♥♥♥ in to me", where a native speaker would either say "♥♥♥ inside me" or "♥♥♥ in me". This is supposed to be a candy themed game or at least the game they are playing, but the match-3 part of the game has us matching fruits, which I suppose could symbolize candy flavors, but why are we matching emeralds and stars? Matching the symbols feels clunky and unpolished. Reaching the scores is fairly easy, albeit some of the later levels seems to be artificially prolonged by having a high point requirement. The game is unclear on the power ups. Apparently it is tied to the clothing you put on each of the ladies, but we are not told that. The clothing you pick also only affects how the sprite during the match-3 part looks, it has no impact on the scenes at all. Zoey seems like the most polished character quality wise, both Mumu and Sayaka's character art seems as lower quality compared to Zoey's art. Both Zoey and Sayaka's levels has issues when completing any of them: The game locks up and requires you to force close it. Was this game tested at all? The scene text processing when clicking "continue" or pressing space feels clunky. It did not feel nearly as clunky in the Zoey games. The game as a whole feels clunky and unpolished to such a degree that it is unfun. Maybe if the point requirements was lowered, so you got to the scenes faster - which most people that buy these games do it for. Having high-point requirements means you spend more time on the unsatisfying part of the game and as such any issue at that part is emphasized. If they were halved, the issues would not stand out nearly as much. As a whole this game is a massive step-down compared to the Zoey games, it also has a higher price. Lower quality and higher price is a recipe for disaster. The games' rating reflects as much. Their previous game is "Mostly Positive" while this one is "mixed" with every 3rd review being negative. It honestly feels like an asset flip, or at least partly like one. It feels like Erebeta found a package on the Unity Asset Store and just decided to implement it as is and then frankensteined a hentai game on top - probably in an attempt to follow the success of the HuniePop franchise. The real difference between this and HuniePop 1 is that HuniePop has a much more clear theming and polish and it only costs 2€ more. HuniePop would honestly be a better purchase.
Too Long ; Didn't Read
A bad attempt at match-3 game with mediocre art. Recommendation:Buy on deep discount or just get HuniePop instead.
Submitted for the Semeicardia After Dark group and their Curation.
LOVE LOVE CANDY Is honestly a decent hentai game with puzzle elements to earn clothing to dress up your three waifus. Game was gifted to me by a fan. I was asked to try it, so here goes. Positives and Negatives... PROS: - Erebeta, which is now ultra-famous, did a great job on the art, generally speaking (Id nitpick on some details but its fine). I especially like Zoey (pink haired one)'s final scene(s). - Voice acting is SUPER SEXUAL (in this context, good). - BGM is nice enough. NEUTRAL - Graphic Design is questionable. But its alright I guess? CONS: - Severe sound balancing issues. Theres the option to lower volume in option. But it actually doesnt work for ALL volume, ONLY MUSIC. This means the PINGS you get for scoring points in the puzzle game part are loud as ♥♥♥♥ even if you lower volume the music down. - The Puzzle gameplay sucks. If you make your ladies naked, you cant win, since youll lack "power ups" tied to clothing pieces, which are needed to win (even for the first levels). Now, instead of being free mode, what this means is you HAVE to play LV1 of all the ladies before doing LV 2s or youll be facing endless losses. You cant plan out empty moves ahead of time to setup combos. Its just tedious as hell and bad. In the end, the levels are "150+ moves" but youre not free here: You do sets-of-3s only or more, and if lucky you get combos, which are rare (unless you stack bombs and dont use them - this clogs your game, BUT, it gives you free shuffles (auto) which gives you more points). Typically... youll do 99% of your moves on the board, then start using up items to catch up to the score needed (which is always high as hell), then pray its enough. to progress (ie: unlock more sex scenes, more clothing). The first few LVs its okay but late game, its so... damn... tedious... You dont feel satisfied or proud of being clever or figuring it all. Its mostly luck. Bleh. CONCLUSION: Get this game on high discount or skip it. Or take someone's save file and enjoy the lewds + playing dressup with the waifus. But the puzzle game itself is heavily lacking and a total drag. I WANT to give it a mid rating, but Steam only allows GOOD or BAD. But ill lean bad on this one.
Well first and foremost, the game isn't fun to play. what is worse is the fact that its also bugged. I'm having issues where the I can't click on the new clothes and photos icons when I finish a Mumu chapter or a Sayaka chapter. To fix it you'll have to quit the game and start it up again. which means you cant full unlock all the achievements. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing game, exceeded my expectations and more. Highly Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good. Solid recommendation. ⭐⭐⭐ Good game, expectation met. Would wait for sale. ⭐⭐ So-so Only get on sale. ⭐ Waste of Money 👈👈👈
What a horrible and unfun videoGame worse than Huniepop 2
