About
It introduces the Onis, a mysterious, masked group who has dominated nearly the entire world using deadly weapons and robots. Their origins and motives are unknown, but their tyranny leads Myro, one of the few known survivors, into hiding. However, with no way of fighting back, Myro is at a standstill... until a strange, hooded man gifts him a gun that contains enchanted properties, later found out to be the titular Oblivion Eagle. Now with a means of defending himself, Myro begins his rise against the Onis, finding out who they are, what they want, and the dark truth that's under it all.

Oblivion Eagle is a light-gun game where you use your mouse and keyboard to shoot and destroy enemies. Enemies launch colored attacks.
Shoot their blue attacks before they hit the screen's edge
Dodge their red attacks before they hit your crosshair
The game strikes a beautiful dynamic of shooting blue while dodging red, leading to a fresh, frantic, and fast-paced action game unlike any other. Even if you have never played another light-gun game, Oblivion Eagle is perfect for anyone to pick up and play. A color-blind mode is available, too!

On top of shooting and dodging, the game also has RPG elements. Completing stages leads to leveling up stats and learning new skills. Skills mix up the combat and add more depth than just clicking. Depending on the skills equipped, you can launch...
Wide shots that cover lots of space
Charged blasts that deal huge damage
Protective walls that block almost any attack
...and many, many other moves. Aside from that are mods. Mods are passive abilities that can grant a multitude of benefits, such as...
Increased HP
Bigger shots
Revival after death
...and a series of other bonuses. Skills and mods can make the difference between a sweeping victory or a total blunder, so try them all and see what build works best for you!

Oblivion Eagle take aspects from bullet hells, Rpg's and classic arcade shooters to give an expirence I haven't really played before. The gameplay is fun and addicting, i would play the demo for weeks until the game finally came out and let me just say as a final product, it's great. Though getting overpowered isn't too hard it's only something you achieve if you are looking out for it and even so the game stay consistently challenging the more you get through, if you are into games that challenge you but are still easily accessible then this is the game for you!
Take my yes. Take all of it. This game is just so unique. Ikaruga x undertale x persona. Pleasant music, obscenely unique gameplay there is only one negative I can point out: you can't increase MP capacity through level ups. I know why it was done, but still
This game had me gripped to my seat every time I opened it. As a casual player, I found it to be the right amount of challenging, and definitely recommend it for those who get a rush from seeing the massive amounts of damage you can deal to the enemies. My fellow 2000s Flash-era gamers! We are so damn back it doesn't even make sense! We got that pick and play simplicity, we got that soundtrack that shouldn't be that good, we got upgrades that break the game thirty minutes in, and we got cutscenes attempting to be cinema with jpegs, sfx, and a dream! Truly a game that makes you once again mourn the bygone era of sites like Miniclip, Armor Games, and Adult Swim Games. The only thing I would hold against it is that some bullet patterns don't mesh together well. It never kills me and it doesn't happen often but I do get a bit miffed when two attacks kind of checkmate me on a perfect run. However, stuff like that is par for the course is these kinds of games. The genius that builds the beautiful Frankenstein monster will also leave some gore on the table. I only have a few hours in this game but expect to have many more soon. If I had to have a closing statement, I'd ask if you remember the first time you had enough resources in BloonTD to start slowing the browser down and tell you this game is covered in that kind of design.
i havent touched this game in months BUT i did buy it right immideately after it's release and its a banger and theres a lot of effort put i this. the MUSIC is top tier and the vibes are good and the bullet hell is fun, all despite the kinda cheesy story
A very challenging game of endurance and patience. I have never been so out of my element in such a fun way
Great game so far, I just have one slight issue. To actually access it, you have to play a tutorial for a completely different game, and then go to that game's menu and click in the bottom left. Weird design choice, but it's worth going through for the masterpiece that it hides
Really fun game. Smooth game play, fun boss fights, and great music. Game has a really fun game play loop that's keeping me entertained
i think it's really good. to me the art is a bit janky, but, the gameplay and music are both great. i was surprised how invested i got in the story. for a regular completion it'd probably be 5-8 hours(i got most of my time from no hitting one fight). it's just a fun exciting unique game that's definitely worth playing.
For Nick's first game, the outcome is very good! The work put into this took a long time, and it shows in the quality of the product. Nick's writing for the story touched my heart and made me cry multiple times, and the gameplay itself is very fun too! This is my third day having Oblivion Eagle, and this innovative method of play is one of my most favourites so far. All I want to say is thank you Nick, for gifting us this beautiful game because we supported yours. I am sure I will gift someone this game soon.
