nice mmo when you keep Oculus exclusiv, no wonder the player base is small as F****.... maybe work on that first before anything else ? imagine selling a vr game on steam that does not support steam VR..
10/18/2022 (Will be Updating over time): I played Oathbreakers in Sidequest and I think this game has a lot of potential. I try to remind people that games in VR have their limitations, but Oathbreakers works around a lot of these in the best ways possible. It choose an art style that's doesn't have much graphic fidelity but still looks good and very charming. I can also this is probably the first MMORPG in VR to have unrestricted PvP which is something I'm very attracted to as well. This is also a very hardcore game in that respect and it won't hold your hand. This may be good and bad for some people but if you've played hardcore MMORPG PvP games then you'll be right at home. Now I can't say it's got all the features of UO but so far it has a lot to offer. Very slow burn grind at first to make money because you start off with zero money. I haven't gotten out of the start point so just take this review as a very early first impression but I will be reviewing more and updating more, but if you're looking for something different in VR as opposed to your rhythm music games, wave shooters, or arena melee games while desiring an MMO for VR... then try this game.

Game looked great on the videos above and also on some YT videos I checked out. However, does not support Valve Index despite coming onto Steam. This was released on Oculus over a year ago and it looks like they tried to cash in a bit on Steam with it too. What's worse is it has been reduced in price twice and yet I guarantee if it ever comes to Valve Index that we'll be paying full price. PLEASE support Valve Index soon. I've been wanting a good MMO for VR and it makes me frustrated that this is it and I can't play it.
Not Sure why this game is even on steam , if it is not going to support the index or steam VR in general seems like a complete money grab and I will be refunding. Too bad too because I have been looking for a good MMO for VR and this could have been it.
I can't believe its on steam as well now!! Very happy this game will hopefully get the recognition it deserves. I have played this game on SideQuest, I have around 170+ hours playing time. I have been following this game for a while now and even have joined the developers discord which has a lovely community. I've always wanted a game like this when owning a VR Headset, it really makes me feel alive. The reason I think this game has a 'high risk, high reward' type of feature which makes character development feel worthwhile. The combat is a little tricky at first but that is also a very fun thing in my opinion. Once your used to it, you can slowly get stronger and feel like your playtime all adds up, it feels very rewarding. The Gameplay is VERY smooth and feels polished. I haven't encountered any buggs, which is very good for a VR game. I absolutely love the learning curve of the game. The combat and mechanics of the game is hard at first but it is what makes me want to progress. Your character also feels very unique because there are LOADS of spells and weapon upgrades in the game. Seriously the amount of spells combinations is ridiculous. The quests are really fun and feels great to do them because of the rewards and character progression. Honestly in conclusion, I feel I can write a whole essay about this game because of how much content there actually is. I've played so many hours in SideQuest and I still feel there is so much more to do. For this reason I will also say, for the amount of hours spent and fun I have had, the price of the game is definitely 'bang for one's buck' Especially because compared to other games, this game offers a lot more content and makes you feel immersed in the world the moment you enter.
Got this Indie VR hidden gem on day 1... Played for 4 hours and the headset battery dying is the only thing that stopped me from carrying on for longer. Great fun & easily worth the asking price! I streamed it so if you are looking to learn more about the game you can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3H3ZmDYIL_0
Logged in, completed a few quests, got a sword, killed a wolf, killed a player and looted his money, bought a bag, player returned with friends, had an epic 3 v 1 battle, died, changed gender and skin colour, became a whole new person, became friendly with the people I attacked and they didn't suspect a thing Great game, I highly recommend it
I'd say there is a difference between a game being hard and a game being so distant that you have no clue what to do. Also that there is a difference between the statements of "the game doesn't hold your hand" and "the game doesn't teach you how to do anything". And I've found out that usually a game saying it doesn't teach you anything means the developers are to cheap to make a tutorial.
After playing over 5 hours in one session on my Oculus Rift S this game is it! An extremely immersive VR experience. This is my favorite RPG game in VR and the gameplay just feels….Right. You will have to use your brain and figure stuff out but I believe this adds to the fun! Only down fall is currently low player population due to being a new game in VR.

I would 100% recommend this over the other games on the market. There's not much hand holding so you will see a lot of idiots running around but that's when you lure them into a back alley and rob them blind. It's a very jump in and play style of game, no ridiculous levels of grinding and you can progress in many different ways so it's not just brainless monster killing grind.
