This game has serious balancing issues since the start of season 2. It is just about playing 2 or 3 builds that consistently work and grind your way up the ladder. Attempt to do anything that is slightly different and you get punished by losing a lot more points than what you can get with the 10 wins. The matchmaking is also a problem currently. The game is extremely simple in terms of art, graphics, and sound. You would expect it to be more well developed then in terms of its systems, but you're wrong. Impossible to recommend at the current state.
I feel like I've sunk enough hours into the game, and after reading Bocary's post about the recent regular update, I now feel inclined to put my opinion out there. Context: Hit GM last season like everyone else, just over 350 hours. Current D1. This game is not like its competitors, OT scratches that pvp itch that I get. OT is a strategy game, you will hit GM, and I will again this season if you just treat ranked like ranked. The Krabby-Patty Secret formula is to just stick to what the shop TELLS YOU TO BUILD rather than what YOU WANT TO BUILD. Think about it logically, you que up for a ranked run but only roll the shop over and over until you get that one item that will progress your build toward the direction that you want it to go, yeah, the probability of a 10 trophy lowers. Treat every shop page with the mindset of, with what I have right now, and what is available to me, what is the biggest power spike? YOU WILL CLIMB EVEN IN DIAMOND. Be honest with yourself, don't take to the review page because your S+ tier build that you saw from a youtube video didn't come online fast enough. USE YOUR BRAIN, create a new build. hitting a 10 trophy and going endless is fun and all, but not every ranked run needs to be set up to go day 100 endless. Play the game for what it is, don't blame RNG because you're too lazy to think. Get this game if you're not a meta slave Andy and want to adapt on the fly. If you enjoy games where its a contest of wits you'll love this. I've never spoken to the dev but there's new content that comes out frequently, and he seems like a good dude. Good Luck, can't wait to crush your towers! Edit: I hit Masters in less than 24 hours to prove my point that ranked isn't "broken", you're just terrible. Follow mindset above and you'll climb.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Jul 31 → 8.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game was fun until the recent update that made it almost impossible to start, 18/18 runs today that I was given impossible matches, 2 stars item opponents on day 3, legendary weapons on day 4, 1 star weapons on day 2, 4 2 star weapons on day 6.... This is no longer fun and a brick wall of a game.
Incredible Season 1. Absolutely bungled Season 2. Might be the worst imagineable matchmaking I've ever seen. Do you want to constantly vs perfect god-builds no matter what round you're on? This could be the game for you.
Entirely unbalanced. There are only like 2 valid build paths and trying anything else is an auto lose
bought for multiplayer, multiplayer is not balanced and most day 4 builds will be 999dmg item with 99 multicast and 999 shield. and no, you cant achieve anything close to these builds playing the game, so i guess its filled with cheaters too, tl/dr don't waste your money on this game for the multiplayer, idk about singleplayer
Was a really fun game until season 2 , now its straight up meta garbage and makes no fun if u want to play with what u get and not hyper reroll | 50/50 on recommend or not | last season was a 100% Recommend and i was really hyped for Co-op back then |
