About
Nuclear Option is a combat flight game set on a dynamic and realistic battlefield of the near future. Use an array of advanced weapons to change the course of battles as you intercept bombers, duel fighters, fly under the radar, or unleash the fury of nuclear weapons on enemy formations.
Each aircraft comes with an immersive cockpit featuring a situational awareness HUD, identifying nearby targets and threats. Aircraft can be flown with various controllers or with a mouse-controlled "virtual joystick", requiring no special hardware.
Experience realistic flight dynamics, with stalls, spins and g-force effects fully implemented, as each aircraft is composed of up to 50 individually simulated physics parts . A highly detailed damage model means that the condition of each part affects the way your aircraft flies.
Build your own missions using the included mission editor, and then fly your mission solo or with friends in PVP or PVE multiplayer combat.

This game is actually a masterpiece. If you're interested in mill sims, military games, aircraft, helicopters, bombers, etc, but you just couldnt get into other games due to them sucking (warthunder) or just being too complicated to play? (DCS) This game is for you. This game makes flying REALLY easy to do and understand yet makes you feel like you're doing something complex. The game has some incredibly fun combat system, want to carry multiple nukes and nuke like 10 different enemy bases? you can do that. Run close are support and bomb tanks and sam sites? you can do that. Want to become an ace dogfighter? you can do that. This game features both extensive PVP and PVE missions. The game is sort of like an RTS where you have limited control over forces, (you can tell them to go here, and what not) But you cant control what troops spawn or when, you kinda just give orders to whatever units are nearby, so that could be tanks, other jets, bombers, IFVs, etc. You also capture bases in a really cool way by flying a transport aircraft that you can use to land armored vehicles like APCs, drones, and repair craft. SO you basically fly air sorties helping your troops on the ground to push bases while managing your money with what weapons you want to carry and what plane you're flying. The only downsides to this game, is if you're playing with a friend whos allied with you the game wont tell you if its them or not unless you hover over their icon on the map. Radar missiles and ships are also a bit annoying, because radar missiles sometimes spam you causing you to keep having to constantly notch them. But that could just be a skill issue on my part. But overall Im extremely pleased with this game and 20 bucks is a great price for it imo. So good I didnt even feel that i spent money on it. reccomend 10/10

Toss bombing Article Talk Read Edit View history Appearance hide Text Small Standard Large Width Standard Wide Color Automatic Light Dark From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia “Over-the-shoulder” delivery Toss bombing (sometimes known as loft bombing, and by the U.S. Air Force as the Low Altitude Bombing System, or LABS) is a method of bombing where the attacking aircraft pulls upward when releasing its bomb load to compensate for the weapons’ gravity drop in flight. Starting the payload’s ballistic path with an upward vector buys additional time. The purpose of toss bombing is to allow an aircraft to bomb a target without flying directly over it. The technique both avoids overflying a heavily defended target and distances the attacking aircraft from the blast effects of either conventional or nuclear weapons.[1] Bomb tactics Toss bombing is adaptable to multiple tactics, including the pop-up, level toss, dive toss, and over-the-shoulder delivery. Pop-up In pop-up bombing, the pilot approaches from low altitude in level flight and on cues from the computer pulls up at the last moment to release the bomb. Release usually occurs between 20° and 75° above the horizontal, causing the bomb to be tossed upward and forward, much like an underarm throw of a ball. Level toss Although "pop-up" bombing is generally characterized by its low-level approach, the same technique of a toss starting from level flight can be used at any altitude when it is not desirable to overfly the target. Additional altitude at release gives the bomb additional time of flight and range, at the cost (in the case of unguided munitions) of accuracy due to windage and the increased effect of a slight deviation in flight path. Dive toss The Dive-toss delivery technique was the first "toss" bombing method developed after WWII at the US Navy's rocket development center at Inyokern, California, in 1947 as a method to attack heavily defended targets without unduly endangering the attacking aircraft.[2] Although toss bombing might seem the direct opposite to dive bombing, where the plane pitches downward to aim at its target, toss bombing is often performed with a short dive before the bomber raises its nose and releases its bomb. This variant is known as "dive tossing". This gives both the bomb and aircraft extra momentum, thereby helping the aircraft regain altitude after the release, and also ensuring that airspeed at the calculated release point is still sufficient to get the bomb to the target. Over-the-shoulder A more dynamic variant of toss bombing, called over-the-shoulder bombing, or the LABS (Low Altitude Bombing System) maneuver (known to pilots as the "idiot's loop"), is a particular kind of loft bombing where the bomb is released past the v
Hell yeah.
where do I even begin. Nuclear option is everything I wished ace combat would be. Sim enough to be super immersive, arcade enough you don't have to spend 3 days learning how to turn the jets on, PVE provides enough challenge to get a really good understanding of the flow of the game and the mechanics. missions provide plenty of change of pace to keep coming back. the models look amazing as well. and the modding community oh the beautiful modding community of NO. runs insanely smooth for being early access as well its only going to get better.
20 bucks for unlimited fun, dont need a flight stick but recommend it. vehicles all feel like they have their specific roles and are useful in their own ways, weapons are all self guided which honestly makes it more fun, weapons also feel like they have their own specific roles. really good physics and is very realistic but knows the line where fun ends and it goes full blown realism and makes it way more fun. all around 9/10, still in ea and has so much more potential while being fun as is
500 nukes
