About

Welcome aboard to Nubby's Number Factory! Your only job here is to make numbers, so you can make bigger numbers, so you can make even BIGGER numbers!
In this plinko-style roguelike, you'll launch your spherical friend, Nubby, down a pegboard to rack up increasingly large numbers. However, it's not all fun and games. You're still a low-ranking employee at this facility, which means that you need to meet your production quota. To make stakes even higher, your work at the number factory is directly responsible for keeping the fabric of space and time intact. One screw up could cause the sun to immediately explode.
Luckily, you can increase your output of numbers by harnessing the magical powers of over 50 unique items. You can use these items to create diverse and creative solutions to surpass your ever-expanding quotas. Feel that sweet surge of dopamine as the components of your factory synergize to make those numbers big!

I first tried this game out as a demo. I looked at it and thought it was a funny looking game. Joked about it, I decided to give it a try. Oh boy, I loved it it felt like CRACK RUNNING THROUGH MY VEINS. When I heard it was getting a mobile port I actually couldn't wait. This is probably one of the simplest games I've played and it's great.
The game functioned pretty well, but then the new swathe of items were added. Increasing the size of the item pool without increasing your ability to influence what items you find makes it harder to assemble a specific synergy, and because most synergies are fairly fragile (functionally requiring >6 specific items when you account for getting rank twos, plus a swathe of perks) this makes most synergies unviably difficult to get online. The items themselves are fine, its just the way they interacted with the rest of the game caused the strategic depth of the game to decrease. The challenges and nubby trials are point blank a terrible experience, with the EnHaNcEd DiFfICuLtY just further crushing build diversity. You load in and know there is exactly one viable build, and that you will simply lose repeatedly until you can force it, which for the above mentioned reasons is unreasonably difficult to do. Most of the supervisors are play-once forgettable. Overall the more i played the more I soured on the game, but I did get a decent amount of hours out of it, and you might find you enjoy it.
Genuinely one of my favorite plinko/roguelites ever. I do wish there was a mode to play the lite/demo balancing or item set with full game physics and length, but that is such a specific thing to ask for so it's basically a mute point.

My go-to game for something to play while I'm on a voice call/listening to audio. It's fun, silly, NGU, frustrating, and hits the spot where it's stimulating enough to keep my interest but once you understand all of the items and perks it can be mindless. Brings me back to really cursed (affectionate) web games of earlier times. Well worth the $5, sometimes it goes on sale for even less.
