Full playthrough w/ Final Boss Rex here: https://youtu.be/J1IgseL7rDI Other Reviewer got the Game for Free and didn't review the game Ironic. Actual Review from someone who finished the game and paid: REX tried to ruin my life so freaking difficult. almost half my playtime was training and fighting him. I actually REALLY enjoyed this game quite a bit I love this genre and I love seeing someone release a game for it that doesn't absolutely blow or just copy pasta from other series it takes some ideas, but it's pretty original. The main flaw in this game though is how long a single session of training takes really the timer should only be a little bit longer than how long it takes to get full bonus xp not twice as long it makes the game drag since I couldn't find a way to skip it and there's no way to expedite it. The combat is dope it's pretty original for a monster battler where you have full control of your monster in a 360 arena. I love that the training has mini games, but again they're way too long. Some of the side characters in the bar dialogue doesn't work correctly and I'm not sure if this is controller only, but it wouldn't let me keyboard while mine was hooked into my computer some of those mini games for training would have been so much easier on keyboard. Overall though I loved this, but man it dragged during the training the combat was sick though. P.S. there's a joke about getting banged in the bum just in time for june too so that's something.
You know. I wasn't certain about getting this game. I play monster games. but this seemed a little ..dark. but in spite the personality of the MC, I found myself enjoying the gameplay mechanics. the story is well written, the raising and battling mechanics are good, though training was a little long, and there was something so satisfying about watching my little murder babies win.
In the current state the game is in, just about 100% of players will quit and give up early. The bad: - 15 min cutscene at the start. Far too much happening. Poor storytelling. - no UI - bad controls (enter to do anything?) - little visual storytelling The game doesn't feel like a game, just an empty project.
This was an awesome game for $5! I definitely loved the style and game play. Almost wish there was more to it other than the achievements :)) I can definitely tell the work you put into it, it runs great and is a lot of fun. I liked raising different types of monsters and even the mundane aspects of training were entertaining with the mini game system. One thing you could definitely improve on is describing the items and equipment better. Of course most of it you can figure out after the fact by deduction and playing through, but I think that would be a nice addition. Thanks creator!! Maybe you will make more like this.
i like it
I was gifted this game, but I gladly would have spent the $5 to purchase it. The story is short, but surprisingly dark and well done. I like that after the main story is done, you can keep training your murder babies and keep progressing for some additional side stories, and more content. The training aspect of the game is pretty simple. There is an auto run for training, though there's not a lot to do during this time. It can be a tad boring waiting for it to finish. However, the optional mini games you can play while training your demons for bonus exp can fill that time. Training more then one demon also makes things interesting. My only other criticism is that I did not find clear indication on what stats food would give your demon before you use it. You kinda have to just go for it and pay attention. Overall a great game, the characters are interesting and the demons you can train all have their own strengths and skills that grow as you win more fights. The fights themselves are entertaining to watch. Would recommend it if you enjoy monster raising games, or want to try one.
