Easy to learn, hard to master. At first you think victory is always one step away until a new wave of enemies makes your carefully built deck feel suddenly powerless. Losing everything and starting over shouldn’t be fun, but here it somehow is. Each run brings the same rounds, but the curiosity to push further keeps pulling you back. The loop is smooth and addictive: colorful yet gritty patterns, semi-predictable at first, then catching you off guard when you least expect it. You’re constantly balancing risk and progress, asking yourself do I push this deck further or reset smarter? That tension is what makes it special. The noir style, the flow, and the balance of progress and loss give it a rhythm that feels both punishing and rewarding. It’s the kind of game where you find yourself saying “just one more run” again and again. Repetitive on rounds, but in practice it’s a cycle of joy, suspense, and curiosity that keeps evolving. Looking forward to seeing more cards and sectors in the future but even now, this is a super nice experience worth diving into.
I gotta say this game surprised me so far. I havent seen any bugs or anything plays really solid. Gameplay is fun it is a deck builder and then turn based combat. I have some inputs, I hope someone would like to read them; 1-I think the hospital system has to change, the fact that you can completely lose your agents cause gear fear and I assume would make most people try playing with free decks. 2-Connected to the first point if you wont use your own cards and wanna save money so you can buy more packs and upgrade your cards, You end up playing the first 5-6 episodes over and over. this limits the content in my opinion (I am scared to lose my 1 skull card imagine if I had a 3 skull xd) 3-I think maybe we can have some sort of filter system in inventory so we can filter by rarity when we are going through preview upgrades? 4-42 Inventory slots is definitely not enough maybe we can buy more slots with currency ? 5-Even though I really like the side missions I always forget doing them maybe it can be connected to pregame screen to remind you to send some agents to missions 6-I dont know why I would buy any other packs then the diamond one I dont see a point. Maybe some more cards per worse pack or discounted packs to upgrade blue cards or purple with lower rarity packs. 7-I am still on the first stage so maybe it will be more necessary later but with sabotage I Was expecting a different mode whereas it is basicly just buff or debuff if I understood it correctly. I rather get no buff than getting a negative one LOL Overall it is an amazing game, I had so much fun so far and I am looking forward to see more packs and what is more to come. Keep it up guys, I will be sharing it with my friends and try to make more people try it.
I love deck building and i love roguelike. Very cool spy art work with a balanced deck mechanic. Loved it!
Really solid game. The noir theme gives it a cool, dark vibe that keeps you hooked. Honestly didn’t expect to like it this much, but Noir Lords is a blast. Fast fights, cool deck-building, and that dark noir style just hit perfectly. Totally worth checking out.
In short: - cool agents -stylish noir vibe -fun card combos -strategic but fast - paced -just one more run
Great game. Good strategy options in building a deck and in actual combat. Suggestions to Devs: Hospital: The hospital feature could be improved. Having to spend hospital points to "Heal" items makes no sense. Single use items should just be available in the next game rather than having to heal them. Sabotage 90: This is a pretty fun blackjack style game, but it needs quality of life improvement. 1. If I have already drawn 6 cards and cannot draw anymore, don't make me click the pass button. It's pointless and just slows things down. Upon my 6th draw, just auto-end my turn. 2. If I lose or win the first two rounds, don't force me to play the 3rd round. The match has already been decided. Just declare a winner and move on. 3. If a game is tied, it basically counts as a loss for the player. Since you have to win 2 games to win the match, a tie eats up one of the 3 rounds. If a ties occurs, add an additional round to the match so that the tie is just a wash with no effect on the outcome of the match. Example: I lose the first round and then tie the 2nd. I've lost the match. There's only 1 round remaining and I can't get my 2 wins. 4. Using the Sabotage 90 as a way to get points for the hospital is really frustrating because it doesn't cost anything to play. You can play Sabotage 90, trying for hospital points, as many times as you want until you eventually win. So, you're basically guaranteed to get the point you need eventually. It just slows the game down. I'd recommend getting rid of the hospital points mechanic altogether and just charge the 1500 to revive a card. The points are useless and frustrating. Except for these issues, I highly recommend the game.
It's a well thought card game. I am so excited to see how they'll improve the game along the way. It's fast and dynamic. I would highly recommend.
Great card game to spend some time. As the levels goes by, you need to think carefully about your next move to not to lose your cards.
Started playing during the beta and got hooked, it only got better with the update. Solid characters, great flexibilty on strategies, nice art on the cards too.
Look, do you like cats? If the answer is yes, then honestly, for the price, rest of this review shouldn't matter much. But for those who are lukewarm about cats (I refuse to believe there are people who simply don't like them), I'll still write a more detailed review. The noir aesthetic is the first thing that hooks you. The art style is moody and stylized in a way that gives the whole thing a real personality. It doesn't look like a AAA game obviously, but it has a vibe, and that vibe is consistent throughout. Rainy city streets, shadowy characters, the whole thing. Reminds me a bit of an old pulp detective paperback but turned into a card game, which is not a comparison I thought I'd be making but here we are. Gameplay-wise it's snappy. Like, genuinely fast. Matches can wrap up in under 5 minutes which sounds almost too short but it actually works really well? You're never really sitting there waiting for things to happen. The card mechanics themselves — attacking, blocking, poisoning, fortifying — aren't overly complex but there's enough there to make you feel like your decisions matter. I've definitely had moments where I played something stupid and immediately regretted it, which means the game has actual stakes. The campaign has a story running through it and it sets the tone well even if it's not the most elaborate narrative you've ever seen. Doesn't need to be. It gives you enough reason to care about where you're going. Now look, it IS Early Access. Content is a bit thin right now and you'll probably see most of what the game has to offer relatively quickly. There are clearly things still being built out — more cards, more game modes, more story. So if you need a complete 40-hour experience right now, this is not that nor should it be considering the price. But if you enjoy watching something grow and want to get in early on something that has a clear identity and a developer who seems genuinely engaged with the community, it's worth it. This is a passion project and it shows, in the good way. Looking forward to seeing where it goes. Also, did I mention cats?
