I've actually played the game for more than 20 minutes (completed it). I had issues with some things and actively voiced my suggestions on the Discord. Most everything I suggested was implemented and all my bug reports were quickly remedied. What else can you ask for from a developer? Incremental games are mostly new to me so perhaps, because I had no expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. I found it to be a very laid back logistics game. The graphics are pleasing and convey the various nodes well (in my opinion). The game took about 10 hours to complete but it could take much longer if you focus on optimizations and min/maxing. Maybe being older and remembering when every game was $50 or more I don't understand complaining about price? For me, this was one of the best $6 games I've played.
I personally find the text in the game to be nearly illegible. I am all in support for creators to have stylistic choice but there is no option I could find in the menus to swap to a more accessible font. This issue alone makes attempting to play this game an unpleasant struggle for me. I also agree with the other reviewer who stated that this game should have been released as early access. I am sure the developer is working hard to improve the state of the game, but I don't want to unexpectedly pay for the privilege of being a QA tester or source of design feedback for a game.
This game is........interesting... It's very similar to other games that I like but it misses the mark on quality of life improvements. In the late game, there becomes way too much to manage that clicking through everything just becomes tedious. There's no economy system so everything is reliant on how much effort you put into the resource you're trying to upgrade, and it's incredibly annoying to keep clicking the chest icon just to see if you have enough for an upgrade. With that being said, I enjoyed the game quite a bit. I'd love to see more updates in the future, but the $5.99 price tag is a bit steep given the small gameplay loop. Once you've played it for about 20 min, nothing else in the game feels new..
Didn't even get to 10 minutes of play time before I encountered multiple bugs. • UI randomly decides you can't zoom in, or out. • Randomly couldn't buy upgrades. Then after a few minutes, I realized I was gathering resources, yet there was no way to see how much I had or where they went? Even if I "sent them to storage"? Not to mention the large game size... 1.45gb for this simplistic game? Even the "about this game" description is incorrect, where it says, "The game can be controlled only with your mouse, so sit back and relax." and immediately has you use WASD to navigate the nodes. It's like someone who clearly hasn't played incremental games (or very much) decided to make one with little/no game plan, and didn't even bother making it EA. It all screens cheap cash grab. Recommend avoiding.
Honestly as someone who constantly buys factory and management games, knowing full well that I quickly get overwhelmed and confused because I am horrible at them, this is actually pretty great. its a simplified version of factory building games that makes it easier to re arrange and change the distribution and layout of your system without having to make major sacrifices. The fact that all of your production and its flow is easily accessible at any time makes understanding the hiccups in your system pretty simple, the nodes that are being fed by your current node are highlighted which also just makes this so much more enjoyable. like I said I suuuuuuuuck at these games but I enjoy them and this is possibly my absolute favorite. sure its not some over dressed mess like factorio or satisfactory but its better for it in my opinion
Have enjoyed this game for quite a bit now. Many improvements over a short period of time, which is not something all developers provide. This game is worth waaay more than what it actually costs.
Point and click, simple as that. Pros: No annoying 13 year olds on your team, cuz it's a single player game. Can play one-handed ( if you know what I mean ;) ) Progression tree is neat. Cons?? I don't understand what I'm doing, but I'm doing it and things move and numbers grow. Big Pros: at least 1 patch a day, sometimes even 2, fixing bugs and improving the game. So the dev actually reads your comments and discussions, takes notes and is an absolute Chad at this.
Works well, lay back and chill. I love this! Totally worth it. Period.
