About
Nocturnal is an action game where you play as Ardeshir, a soldier of the Enduring Flame, returning to his homeland, Nahran, after many years of absence.
Following the appearance of a mysterious Mist, the island has recently fallen into chaos, and Ardeshir must wield his flaming sword and use powerful abilities to confront its mysteries and free Nahran.
Repel a dynamically generated Mist that reacts to the flames of your sword.
Carry your flames across Nahran: your blade can also ignite the environment, activate mechanisms, and even destroy creatures born from the Mist.
Defeat enemies and explore the environment to collect ash, which can be offered to Phoenix statues. You'll gain new skills and bonuses vital for your survival.

Nocturnal Nocturnal é aquele tipo de jogo simples, mas que consegue entregar uma experiência bem divertida... a atmosfera sombria, o fogo como principal mecânica e os combates rápidos fazem a campanha funcionar muito bem. gostei bastante da ambientação e da forma como o jogo usa o fogo não só para lutar, mas também para explorar o cenário. a história não é o ponto mais forte e poderia ser um pouco mais desenvolvida, mas isso não chega a atrapalhar muito porque o jogo sabe ser direto ao ponto... você entra, joga, enfrenta os desafios e quando percebe já está chegando ao final. é uma experiência curta, bonita e divertida para jogar entre campanhas maiores... não foi algo que me marcou tanto quanto outros jogos, mas definitivamente vale a experiência. nota: 6/10
Nocturnal is a pretty good side scroller indie metroidvania-like game. I enjoyed playing it. The visuals are pretty clean and unquestionably the best part of the game. However, the puzzles are incredibly repetitive and the story is predictable: literally just light is good and dark is evil. Some people say this game is too short. For the story and gameplay, the pacing and timing is perfect. It's a good way to spend a few hours of an afternoon on.

Очень кайфовый платформер, с симпатичной, стильной рисовкой. Все локации, задники, персонажи и эффекты отлично проработаны. Сам платформинг приятный, уровни проходится легко, быстро, не душно. Боёвка красивая, динамичная и при этом минималистичная - не требует высокого скилла, реакции. Боссы не кидают какого-то особенного вызова, что наверно жаль. Хотя с парочкой из них было интересно сразиться. Активных способностей не так много, всё древо талантов это обычное повышение характеристик и шансов. Есть минимальный добренький лор, ожидать крепкого сюжета не стоит. Игра на один, максимум два вечера. Нраиса
