Underrated gem
Jogo Delicia de jogar, os personagens são maravilhosos
Loved the characters, the story and the art but the gameplay/boss fights are kinda lackluster and bland
Really cool game with an even cooler soundtrack. Honestly you should play it for the soundtrack alone. While the gameplay is easy and sometimes repetitive, this game has so much charm and style that you just go along for the ride.
Good art and music
Good music goated 12/10 and character design and art direction A+++, I freaking love Sayu, and Eve but terrible gameplay, parrying lack of tutorials, and impossible to dodge with all of the projectiles, the gameplay is quite repetitive, all of the skill, quite useless, the dialoque is too small when Mayday and Zuck jumping, and attacking, for the both MC, that is 2/10 for the gameplay, the game definitely need some polishing, hopefully NSR 2 will fix that. I keep my expectations low for now.
For this game I wish there were “neutral/mixed” options of giving feedback on steam. I enjoyed the game, but overall the negatives outweigh the positives. I feel I won’t enjoy replaying this again, it was very one time gameplay with this game. (I hope that the sequel will be better, crossing fingers) The artstyle, graphic, and soundtrack was the main elements that I enjoyed the most of this game. The aesthetic was unique, fitting for each genre of to the district that you had to fight against with. Very solid and wonderful soundtrack that I will definitely listen more to outside the game for sure. I really love Mayday and Zuke duo of friendship, and their personality with Mayday being energetic and loud, and Zuke being chill and quiet type. The humour in the game was good, but the story was kinda generic, with a “final secret reveal” that was kinda predictable? > Don’t meet your heroes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I really liked DK West rap battle, it felt original and different, compared to the others one which was almost always the same in a way? I also enjoyed the ability to find real fanarts all over the game! It was fun finding them, and adding them on May’s guitar suitcase as decoration, that so unique way to shoutout to the fans of the game, so lovely! <3 But the downsides are… I couldn't really call this game a “rhythm” game that it states it is. There was only sometimes you had to focus on the rhythm to get a parry or not be hit by an enemy, but most of the time I was just running trying to hit or shoot the enemy down. Feels more like hack and slash with guitar/drumstick more. I felt bored going thought the security levels before each boss fight, it felt so unnecessary to be honest. I thought the bosses would get harder by each new chapter, but I feel it was harder most on boss number 3 and rest was definitely easier? Having a “guide guy” on the right popping up while you are in the middle of the fight was hard to process, as someone who has dyslexia I wish the “tips” bar was on the whole screen and paused the fight not being in the corner when I’m trying not to die here! I can’t have focus on the corner when all is happening in the middle of the screen. And most annoying thing: Final boss was bugging so badly, I had to restart that fight like 10 times since the hp bar either didn't go down, or the “final strike” wasn't “finished” developing, so the entire boss fight froze, and I couldn't continue the fight at all, I had to stop using the abilities that was able to use other places in the game with no problems. So be aware of Tatiana’s fight, that it might lag on you! If you want to play for the story and world, then this game is good on that, the aesthetic and designs of the characters and world was the best part of it, alongside with the music. But if you want to play for the gameplay aspect, then don’t do it, there are better things out there. Only get this game if its on sale, another then that I don’t know how I feel in the end…

The game is such a fun experience. The music is incredible, the story is well-written and the visuals are fun and unique. The only low point, in my opinion, is the gameplay, which can be buggy sometimes. However, if you're not someone who cares a whole lot about optimal gameplay or perfect scores, than it won't be a huge problem. The bossfights are really fun, and I find myself wanting to go back and replay them. All in all, NSR is a gem of story games, and one I'll remember fondly for a long time.
