About

In No More Room in Hell 2, you deploy as an emergency Responder into the eerie darkness of various zombie-infested locations.
Join up with others and complete vital missions to aid humanity's survival. But stay cautious: every encounter with the horde can lead to infection - or even permadeath for your Responder.
Every fight is a struggle, every victory another step back from the brink of apocalypse.
Eight players must use their wits and deadly reflexes to survive the relentless forces of the undead.
Find your teammates with proximity voice chat and grow together in power.
Communication and strategy are key to survival as you face overwhelming threats– with resources too scarce to not be shared. Use every strategy and tool at your disposal to outsmart the horde and make it out in one piece.
Every choice made and action taken will affect how the horde reacts, leading to devastating consequences or the loss of your Responder and their individual progress.
In Scenario Mode, Responders journey deep into the heart of the outbreak to arm themselves, tackle critical objectives, and extract supplies. Witness how the recent apocalypse has affected the Northeast Coast of the United States across 6 richly-crafted maps, each offering a different perspective of society's collapse. From the urban centers of Lewiston, Maine and Broadway in New York, to the industrial outskirts of Pennsylvania and facilities like Beaulieu Hospital and a government Bunker; every locale offers a different time of day as well as themed objectives to complete. Discover gear along the way, increasing your odds of survival and restoring the infrastructure needed to keep humanity alive.
Every mission puts your character at risk of dying - forever.
The undead can infect you and twist your mind, setting you on a race against time to find pills or a gene therapy cure - all before your dead body rises up against your allies.
Looting supplies always benefits your crew, but your Responder must survive to reap all the rewards.
For every successful mission you complete, your odds at survival improve through upgraded starting gear and perks earned from your previous experiences.
Do you put your character’s life on the line to save a squad member? Rewards increase as more squadmates extract, but the risk of permadeath is ever-present.
While one zombie is a threat, a crowd can quickly become insurmountable. The undead retain their senses, with every sound you make in the hushed darkness able to cascade into full conflict. Multiple zombie types force you to try and stay one step ahead or meet a horrifying end - including your responder joining the undead horde.
Ammo is scarce, zombies are dangerous, and players are fragile. Experience thrilling survival horror with an arsenal of weapons - some professional, some improvised - to ward off and outwit the undead.
Bury a crowbar into a walker’s skull with visceral melee combat, or unload your last shotgun shell into the advancing horde.
A dynamic gore system lets you see and feel the sickening impact of every wound you impart on the undead.
Stay alive by planning out your combat encounters, using tools like proximity bombs or molotov cocktails to employ brains instead of brawn.
Equip weapon attachments, including sights, scopes, and suppressors, to make firearms more effective.
Grow your Responder's skillset over multiple missions, with each extraction progressing their abilities and leading to unique perks that allow crafted loadouts for future deployments.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

To stop "speedrunners" they make you swing melee weapons like you're a 4 yr old toddler. Nerfed shotguns and made their ammo cost double the weight of other ammos (example - 160 rounds of 556 = 80 rounds of 12 gauge). Nerfed player's running speed while infinite zombies still spawning behind you out of black holes from other galaxies. Zombie's aimbot and attack range so stronk they've got better aim and hit ratio than any baseball player. Jumping onto boxes/rocks/etc you become one with materials/nature/etc while zombies find which hole they wanna destroy first. Hmm, I can go on but this should give hints on how this is going so far so.....
This game although not perfect they've got a solid recipe. This is a cooperative zombie extraction shooter built with the bones of a classic George A. Romero film. this title might not be for everyone, and I know its launch was pretty poor but with just the updates this is shaping up to be a very good experience. Is it perfect? no, The "best" zombie survival game not at all im speaking solely from the progress the devs have made. This game for me has scratched an inch ive needed in a zombie game. For 30$ even after full release if it goes smooth why not give it a try as a stand alone game.
fun game with a lot of potential
I've gotta say this game has come a long way from its original state and I couldn't be happier to see it thriving. For anyone who is considering this game, I will tell you right now, no faking, no lying or whatnot. This game is fun, buggy at times, annoying at other times but it is fun. Don't let the old mixed reviews dissuade you and with it being on sale, getting it *as of time of this review* is optimal. It's an investment, a worthwhile one too.
Grounded, communication based, fun. Super replayable. Love to loot and love to shoot.
The game is in a solid place now and absolutely worth the $20. If you're on the fence like I was after reading some of these reviews, I'd honestly recommend picking it up. Even though the game still has some issues, most of them feel like things that can be addressed over time. The core experience is already there, and for huge zombie fans especially, it's a really enjoyable co-op game. I feel like the game has the Romero vibe. The zombies feel like an actual threat, the world feels grounded, and the atmosphere is far more focused on horror and survival than action. The atmosphere is honestly where the game shines the most for me. Playing on an OLED display makes a huge difference. The super dark environments and the way light casts around looks incredibly well on a good display and the gamma and brightness settings are good. The lighting, sound design, and environmental detail all work together really well. In my opinion, this is one of the more believable zombie apocalypse settings I've seen in a game. It feels natural and grounded instead of over-the-top, and that makes the horror hit harder. The missions can be lengthy so make sure you have at least an hour, and communication with your team is super important. You constantly need to be aware of your surroundings because zombies can show up when you least expect it. Even a relatively small group can bring you down fast if you're careless or get separated. The game does a great job of keeping you alert, and that constant tension is a big part of what makes it so enjoyable for me. The gunplay is also satisfying. Landing headshots feels really good, and putting down a zombie with a well-placed shot is always very rewarding. The weapons have a decent sense of weight to them, and the animations are all good. That said, I do think the weapon handling could use a polish pass in the future, it is a bit clunky. Combat itself in general feels a little clunky at times. My biggest criticism right now is probably the zombie spawn behavior. Sometimes it feels almost pointless to clear an area because zombies can respawn very quickly. It's especially noticeable inside buildings where you clear rooms, step outside, and then come back to find more zombies seemingly appearing again. It can feel a little artificial and is one of the areas I think needs the most tweaking. They are supposed to be a never ending threat that doesn't stop coming, and the game does a really good job of that. But what's thee point of clearing a building if you step outside for 20 seconds and come back inside, only to find zombies artificially spawned back into the rooms you just cleared. I'd also like to see some adjustments to melee combat. Right now, it feels odd that you can be actively hitting a zombie in the head while it's attacking, yet it still completes its swing and chunks your health without being staggered. Since melee requires you to get in close, those hits can sometimes feel unavoidable rather than earned. The hit detection can be a little inconsistent too. Neither issue is a deal breaker for me, but I'd love to see zombies stagger when struck during attack animations, and I think tightening up the hit detection would make melee combat feel much better overall. Despite those complaints, none of them take away from the overall experience for me. The game still nails the things that matter most: atmosphere, tension, horror, and immersion. Every mission has this constant feeling that things can go wrong at any moment, and the slower, more methodical pace makes the world feel genuinely dangerous. If you're a zombie fan looking for something that feels more grounded, tense, and horror-focused rather than another action shooter, I think this game is absolutely worth the money in its current state. It still has some rough edges, but the core experience is strong, unique, and already a lot of fun. I can easily see it becoming something special in the future with a few updates and adjustments.
