This is the first person zoo tycoon experience I didn't know I needed. It's been a while since a game grabbed me the way Nimbit Frontier has. I'll also say I've bought full release games with less content than this early access. The art is incredible and it's so refreshing to see a unique, hand drawn style paired with such thoughtful game design. This is definitely a game and studio to watch.

Kinda gives Moonlighter vibes (the first one-not the second) honestly especially the dungeon/caves part, the graphics are cute, characters are alright - but tbf most of the characters kinda lack depth but it's ok. It's a fresh take on collectathon games, I liked it. I didn't try to play it with mouse&keyboard but it really is a breeze to play with a controller.
I cannot believe I just stumbled on this game randomly without hearing anyone talk about it before. I don't remember the last time I spent a full day rotting in front of my laptop completely locked in on a game like this, it scratches every itch I've ever had for a game. For people like me who need another game to compare something to always it's almost like, if Pokemon Ranger was Slime Rancher, which was also Cult of the Lamb, which was also Stardew Valley? Maybe? But its just so completely its own thing, I don't know how good of a comparison that would be. Obviously I'm looking forward to what's to come, I'd love to see more depth in the NPCs especially, but for now just the roguelike exploration and habitat building are enough to keep me occupied. Most days in game I don't even talk to anyone, I'm too busy with my Nimbits. <3 This is a 10/10 for me right now, and a great price for the time I've already gotten out of it. Very excited to see more in the future!
Great game, looking forward to further development. Not many bugs (the only one i had was when i entered a house into a cutscene but exited instantly - so i glitched through the town while the dialogue played out and had to get unstuck). - I would love to be able to dash in town, maybe even over the rivers. - I enjoy the minigames more than i though i would. Fishing takes a tad bit too long in my opinion (unless there is something to make it easier and i just didnt find it), i feel it needs a few too many correct hits to complete. Also i think (playing on controller) just pressing a direction should make the fishing cursor go that way in a circle, without me having to do the whole circle myself. - Some things are a bit hard to find (like gleamroot tuber). Had to look it up to find out it can only be found when diving after 6pm. Again: Unless i missed something stuff like that could be pointed out a bit better. All in all its one of those "I'll just play another day...oh maybe one more...and one more..." games for me, which i really enjoy. The character and nimbit designs are lovely as well.
It's super cute and so far I'm enjoying it a lot. Simple without the grindy-ness of a lot of other similar sims. The fishing mini game is also a lot more interesting and fun imo. Can't wait for the full release, but will continue raising my lil ones. I have ended up leaving the game open at times so the hours logged is not actually the hours played >_>
very fun to play, lots of things to do, gameplay loop doesn't feel repetitive, and the characters are also very interesting, I would definitely love to see more content in the future, hopefully they still plan to add even more content, even after 1.0 release
GOOD GAME :)
Upřímně jsem nečekala moc od hry. Protože hodně EA her prostě v poslední době nebylo nic moc. A není to chaotické. Hra mě baví a hodně.
