For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. Node: The Last Favor of the Antarii is an unusual and highly original 2.5D puzzle platformer based around a robot trying to prevent a nuclear meltdown in a Russian power plant. The atmospheric story is very interesting, although it does take a while to get going, and I loved the relationship between your robot and the Russian super computer that controlled the plant. There are many story teasers along the way that have you thinking about the robot's relationship with the computer and has you wondering about where the plot was going, but I never really felt like any of these story arcs were resolved because I am guessing that I did not follow the correct route or answer correctly when supplied with conversation choices. Therefore, if you do end up playing this game I would be wary that to get the most out of it try to explore as much as you can and try alternative routes to the obvious ones, or else you will miss out on story plots. Perhaps, the game needs to be more linear because it was a disappointment not finding out what actually happened, especially because the story was so tantalising. A better save system would also help to revisit pivotal moments but there are no manual saves, only automatic saves at checkpoints, and there are no chapter selects after the game finishes, and because the game feels a bit heavy at times, I wouldn't want to repeat the experience. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3624037894 The game is still fun and challenging for puzzle lovers, even if the story is not quite revealed as you would hope, but sections can be quite difficult and a regular mainstay of game play is a huge amount of trial and error. Your robot is controlled by obeying commands that you input, like forward, backwards, jump, break, use, turn, switch, and slow. You can also enter time stamps for these commands, and you will find yourself tweaking these commands over and over again with different commands and altering time stamps. Once you submit the commands, you see what the robot does and change things accordingly. There is a handy fast forward button which is a God send because sections can be quite long and if you just want to tweak the commands at the end of the process then without the fast forward, I think it would get tedious watching it over and over. Some of the puzzles are long enough that you have to think about what commands you need to enter to cut corners because you can only enter ten commands and often you run out of room. There are puzzles where activating lifts, shields, and machinery help you but these all take up commands. For example, if you are on a lift you need to activate it with "Use" and enter "break" so that the robot does not roll off. Once you are at the top you may need to switch lanes or jump over objects whilst trying to reach the checkpoint where the commands are reset so it's all about timing and tenths of a second can make all the difference. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3624038086 I did get stumped a few times and had to consult walkthroughs for the answer because it can be quite difficult. Not only do you have to control the robot, but you also have defence units which can be very tricky to circumvent and environmental aspects like water valves and radiation you have to think about when manoeuvring. I was very impressed with how the puzzles fitted into the story and how they were integrated into a working nuclear power plant. There is quite a lot of platforming sections which were very imaginative. You could tell that a lot of thought had gone into these puzzles and it definitely stood out as one of the most original puzzle games I have played. The game can feel quite repetitive at times and rather gloomy due to the nature of it being in a cold, dark, underground complex, so I did find that I completed the game in quite a few sessions and overall I would expect it to last around ten hours.
🍳Conclusion🍳

NODE: The Last Favor of the Antarii is a very original and well produced puzzle platformer with some interesting puzzles that integrate well into the story and environment, but the repetitive nature of the game and the difficulty might deter some people from completing it. The interesting plot lines ultimately turned out to be a little disappointing because the completion of these story lines depended on finding secrets within the game so there were many loose ends when the credits rolled. Overall though, you won't find many puzzle platformers as original as this and it was an interesting experience I am glad I completed.

Thank you for reading my review.
The gameplay ruined the beauty of the game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0y-Ruuhg8k NODE: The Last Favor of the Antarii - потрясающая головоломка, в которую добавили еще и режим платформера, так что вы можете выбрать, как играть.
NODE is a puzzle platformer that takes a refreshingly unconventional approach to its genre by replacing direct character control with a command programming system. Developed and published by Lapsus Games, the title places players inside a deteriorating nuclear installation inspired by the Cold War, where every challenge revolves around carefully planning a robot's movements instead of reacting in real time. From its opening moments, the game establishes an atmosphere of mystery and tension, inviting players to uncover the truth behind an abandoned facility while mastering an innovative gameplay mechanic that rewards logic over speed. Rather than relying on traditional platforming skills, NODE asks players to build sequences of commands that dictate how the robotic protagonist behaves. Every jump, movement, pause, and interaction must be programmed before execution, turning each level into an elaborate engineering puzzle. Watching a carefully constructed plan unfold successfully is immensely satisfying, especially after multiple attempts and refinements. The game constantly encourages experimentation, allowing players to analyze failures, adjust their instructions, and gradually discover increasingly efficient solutions. This distinctive design gives NODE an identity that feels both original and intellectually rewarding. The environmental design plays an equally important role in maintaining player engagement. The sprawling industrial complex is filled with abandoned laboratories, reactor chambers, maintenance corridors, and forgotten control rooms that tell their own stories through visual details. Instead of relying heavily on lengthy exposition, the game allows players to piece together its narrative by observing the surroundings and interacting with the remnants of a once-active scientific operation. The gloomy architecture, malfunctioning technology, and ever-present feeling of isolation create an atmosphere that perfectly complements the game's methodical pace. Beyond solving puzzles, NODE presents a thoughtful science fiction narrative centered around artificial intelligence, technological responsibility, and the consequences of past decisions. Conversations with various systems and hidden discoveries gradually reveal what happened inside the facility, encouraging players to explore every corner rather than simply rushing toward the next objective. The branching dialogue system and narrative choices add another layer of depth, allowing different interpretations and outcomes that make the story feel more personal. While the plot unfolds at a measured pace, it consistently rewards players who enjoy uncovering lore through exploration instead of receiving straightforward explanations. Puzzle progression remains one of the game's strongest accomplishments. New mechanics are introduced gradually, ensuring that each chapter builds naturally upon previously learned concepts. Players eventually encounter increasingly sophisticated environmental hazards, automated machinery, timing-based obstacles, and interconnected systems that require careful planning to overcome. Every new mechanic expands the possibilities of the command timeline rather than replacing earlier ideas, resulting in puzzles that remain engaging without feeling repetitive. The rising complexity creates a genuine sense of mastery as players become more comfortable with the game's unique logic. Visually, NODE embraces a clean yet atmospheric presentation that emphasizes environmental storytelling over graphical spectacle. The 2.5D perspective allows the developers to create detailed industrial environments while keeping puzzle elements readable and easy to interpret. Effective lighting, mechanical animations, and subtle visual effects reinforce the sense of exploring an aging nuclear complex where every room carries traces of its forgotten past. Complementing the visuals is a restrained soundtrack filled with ambient mechanical sounds, distant alarms, and carefully placed musical themes that heighten immersion without distracting from the thoughtful gameplay. The game's deliberate pacing may not appeal to everyone. Because success often depends on repeated testing and optimization, players seeking fast action may find the experience slower than expected. However, those who appreciate puzzle games that emphasize planning, observation, and logical reasoning will likely find the challenge deeply rewarding. Every completed sequence feels like solving a complex engineering problem, and the satisfaction of executing a flawless command chain makes the trial-and-error process worthwhile rather than frustrating. NODE ultimately succeeds by delivering an experience that confidently explores ideas rarely seen in modern puzzle platformers. Its combination of strategic programming mechanics, atmospheric world-building, meaningful storytelling, and steadily evolving puzzle design results in a memorable adventure that stands apart from more conventional titles. Although it demands patience and careful thinking, it consistently rewards players willing to engage with its systems, making it an excellent recommendation for fans of intelligent science fiction puzzles and methodical gameplay. Rating: 8/10
Jogo divertido e super criativo
I bought this game because the trailer and screenshots have really dug deep to me from my countless playthroughts through INSIDE. I like the inspiration, the dark soviet setting, incredibly large and rich map, the graphics, sound. Big kudos for native Linux build, that's (also) a correct use of Unity (or any multi-platform engine). Yes, Proton exists, but I just prefer native builds if they are available and there is no reason not to release a linux build as well (no platform fees, no proprietary SDK, no need to register it anywhere at all). But I can't say a lot of positives for the gameplay itself. Some of the puzzles are well made, but not the rest. Later on it relies more and more on repetetive tweaking the *NODEs* (haha) by each tenth of a second for perfect timing in combination long series of brake commands or on pure luck for the right moment you press the button to start the sequence (the part with counter-clockwise rotating platform). I really enjoyed the start, but in my current progress it became really boring. Trying just FWD because I don't see what's there (only the map overview) and I don't know the timing, then stopping, adding set time FWD, jump/switch or other action, again, find a new special part of the track, adjust it, over and over, again and again. This game needed many, many, many times more playtesting than it probably had. Or at least partial rewind of the puzzles. The puzzles are not difficult, but they're really repetetive and boring. If I didn't buy it on sale, I would be somewhat disappointed.
