Yet another indie dev trying to sell a 10 minute demo as a full game.. for almost 5$ CND!!! This developer should be ashamed of themselves...absolutely disgraceful. Steam should ban people like this imo.

Warning: Asset Flip! Nightwalker is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unreal Marketplace packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took an Unreal Engine forest asset and a couple of other stolen assets (I've seen the monster thing in a few asset flips now) to make your usual first person horror jumpscare adventure. The true horror is that Valve has no quality control and keeps letting this abusive intellectual property violation stuff onto Steam. It has no value or merit as a real game. SA Industry/Useless Machines have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Kingdom Defense" = Tower Defense Basic Pixel Art Pack developed by FreeThePlayerOnGame
"Falling Words" = 2D Typing Game developed by Steelkrill Studio
"Drive For Your Life" = Zombie Drive - Full Game Template developed by Puppeteer
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at around 1440p, there's no support for the state-of-the-art 4K or higher resolutions. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying sound/background music, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop it using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Nightwalker has the comically over-optimistic price of $40 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. The pricing tier here might be to scam gamers, or, while there's no evidence, to launder money or other nefarious activity. Asset flips are not worth AAA pricing.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Might as well just label this as horror walking simulator because that's pretty much all it is. You wander around a forest for a long time and pick up boards to put over holes which can "kill" the monsters. AI for the monsters isn't too bad, but it would be nice if they could actually see or sense your presence somehow. There is also not enough monsters in the game. It's more of an open space where you got to find the monsters instead of them finding you. Additionally, your stamina bar runs out pretty quickly so it is actually hard to escape a monster (if you can even find one).
Buy on sale The game is about finding this and finding that Whole time I was searching for a fuse and when I found it I had to search for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wire Had high hope for this game

very short adventure/horror game - get it on sale !
Wicked short, the depth of field if really nice.
I definitely cannot recommend buying this game unless you really want to spend money on a super trashy 10-minute game demo. No atmosphere, very low-quality graphics, and the only thing you do is walk around and pick up a few 'hidden' items — that's it.
There is no way this game is worth 51.99$, it just feels so empty. The enemies are extremely easy to beat and the first 20 minutes of the game is the most boring walking simulator I've played to date. I would rather buy USED GUM then purchase this game again.
