This game is all around mediocre, and feels relatively low-budget. Firstly, there's a bug where you can't pick up items if you exceed 60 fps, so set your monitor settings to cap at 60 fps. The combat is shallow and there is little variation. The story is mostly told through typos and running gags that are just a waste of time. The plot as a whole is okay at best. There is a good amount of stuff to do within the game, like side quests and collecting little monster guys and equipment that spice up the gameplay, so I never got bored despite the bare bones hack n slash. None of said quests are at all tedious and most can be completed in 1-3 minutes. The music is great. The character design is fantastic if you're into anime-styled stuff. The game is pretty easy until the last boss. That mofo is tough and it's a chaotic fight. It only took me like four tries to beat him, but I think it was more by luck than anything. The pit stains on my t-shirt symbolize how intense and enraging that fight is. I wouldn't say its bad by any means, but it's not really good either. I don't think i'll be getting the sequel though. If you are familiar with and enjoy Koei Tecmo hack n slash games, then you'll probably like this to some degree. Just buy on sale.
its like an mobile game, there is forms, weopons and servants, BUT the game is like an Novels with rpg, so to say the game is not hard you just fight and go trough story, for my part is to easy, but a good time killer so i still recommend it
Should've listened to the reviews, from a technical point a total mess absolutely but there just isn't anything else redeeming other than the OST, it's sloppy, unfinished and boring. So many issues it's unreal that it got released.
I like the game play and a big fan of the story. It's challenging for me to a point of frustration but felt gratifying when I succeed with the boss fights.
Good game with great music. The combat is interesting because your party is just as important, if not more than you are in a fight. I wish the game was longer with more to do though and with a bit more depth to the combat. It feels like a better version of the dream eaters in KH Dream Drop Distance.
Awesome game and one of the few out there similar to Castlevania Curse of Darkness. Really glad this one at least has the pre-order dlc baked into it.
8/10
