Although it's been almost around a week since release, the dev has been incredibly involved and is pushing patches everyday as well as listening to feedback. it's already a great game and i have no doubt that it will keep getting better! keep up the awesome work but don't overwork yourself dev :)

Steam Machine Review I’ve been playing Night Rolls: Cozy Store, and I already love this game. It’s such a relaxing, chill, and cozy experience. The game runs perfectly on my Steam Machine with no issues at all. If you’re looking for something peaceful to play when you want to wind down, relax, and just enjoy a cozy gaming experience, Night Rolls: Cozy Store is definitely worth checking out. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite games to play when I just want to take it easy.
Wow! This game is everything I was expecting and more! An amazingly chill and cozy sim game. It has a unique charm not found in other shop sim games I've played (and I've played a lot!). Its toned down cashier/sushi preparing leads to a very relaxing experience. You can tell so much love and thought have been put into this. For a game like this, I was not expecting online trading!!! Really cool!! The game has 6 radio stations, with voiced djs! (They don't have many lines but the fact they're included at all is awesome!) Do I really need to say anymore? Just get it! aha Much love to the Dev, who responds regularly on discord and is very open to feedback. My one piece of feedback would be to add the ability to hire a cashier so we can chill out even more! ahaha
Translation is done by AI, so some words might not convey the intended meaning accurately。) Assembling sushi rolls is quite relaxing, but the variety of product types is relatively limited (currently, I think there are more large shelves and a bit fewer small freezers). Personal suggestion: 1 The assembly part can add some salad and sandwich items. 2. For beverages, some instant coffee and alcoholic drinks can be added, or a smoothie machine type can be installed at the bar counter later. For small desserts that need to be placed in the freezer, the types of ice cream and small cakes (similar to cupcakes) can be added. 4. For daily necessities, you can add some types such as mosquito repellent water, umbrellas, soap and body wash. 5. Sections for selling flowers and fruits can also be added. 6. Hot food sections can also be added, such as pizza and fried chicken types. (If the author merely intends to run a convenience store of the food type, the fourth and fifth points can be disregarded.) Editor 2: I really like this game! Problem: 1. After opening more than 50% of the menu in the kitchen sushi, the large freezer obviously can't hold too much sushi. 2. When players choose that the customer flow is bustling, the kitchen cannot make more sushi, and when restocking, the shelves are full and there are still goods in the shopping baskets but they don't know where to put them. 3. When restocking, the store staff can only carry two shopping baskets each time. When there is a lot of restocking, going back and forth can be a bit dizzying (I can, but my desk is relatively small. If the sensitivity is turned down, it's quite tiring to use the mouse). Personal suggestion: 1. You can try converting the three shelves facing the store entrance into small freezers. 2. A door can be placed between the wardrobe and the washbasin in the back kitchen, and inside it is a small warehouse, which is divided into a normal temperature area and a cold storage area. Or set up a shelf so that the extra goods can have a place to be placed. If too many shopping baskets are piled up on the ground, it will be hard to tell which one is what you want. 3. A small cart can be added. The shopping baskets can be neatly placed on the cart. Players can replenish the goods while pulling the cart.
This game just came out Aug 26, 2026. I just started playing this game about an hour ago and haven't been able to stop! It offers such a calm and cozy experience that it feels like my mind can finally relax after a long day at work. You run a small convenience store during the midnight shift, restocking shelves with snacks and products, and filling the refrigerators with sushi that you prepare yourself. The store can get messy, so you need to stay on top of cleanliness during your shift, and check your reviews on the computer to see what customers like and if you've missed anything, and keep up with your bills. You can save money, make investments, and put money away in a retirement account along with many more other things. You also have the option to customize your store's colors, as well as your character’s outfit and hair, among many other things. I’m curious to see what else the developers have in store for this game, and I hope it evolves into something like a series of expanding cozy shops.
Like many others have said, the game lacks complexity where it matters. There's a very complicated banking app on the computer with stocks, crypto, and etfs. Yet making sushi and ringing up customers is way too simple. You can't expand the store, hire employees, or really do anything else with your money besides buy more inventory. Fun little game that would really benefit from more content.
I really like this game! It feels nice and cozy. During the demo, I played with all audio on, including music, and loved the sound design, especially the mouse clicking. It's very ASMR. After purchasing, I turned the music off and listened to a podcast on the side instead, which helped me stay engaged with the game for a long time. It's nice for getting through your "watch later" catalogue on YouTube while still moving your fingers, which is one of my favorite categories for cozy games as a certified ADHDer. It even lets you invest in stocks and save for retirement, which I can already see being my main goal and something that incentivizes me to come back. I also like that it's a self-imposed goal that you don't even have to engage with if you don't want to. It actually took me seven in-game days to realize that it was even an option. That's a theme with this game - it goes almost entirely at your pace, and there are a bunch of little details you pick up on as you peruse the computer in the .5 seconds you have until someone is at the register. The only real goals you get from the game are "make three specific types of sushi" at each shift and the rest is up to you. Whether that's a positive or a negative really depends on your playstyle, but it's a positive for me! In all, the game loop is pretty repetitive, but I can see it being something you just turn on once and a while to knock out 30 minutes or so of gameplay and relax - kind of like a fidget toy in game form.
Love this silly little game. One big problem with it is that I wanna eat some rolls irl when I play it so expect to get the sushi cravings.
My niece loves this game it’s got great customization wide variety of tasks to do and overall a chill laid back game that just hits right with how everything is done great game
