Me and my cousin played this game recently. I was not a fan. Felt like watching paint dry. The first 3 chapters have no plot progression and its just Mae (main character) dodging questions that would actually ADVANCE THE PLOT. All you do is live in a small town, occasionally play a bass, and listen to your friends spout on about to their problems. Said friends don't even change after talking about their problems. Its like a "Here's why im depressed and a glimpse of my backstory... Okay... lets go home now, I'm done talking." ?????? No foreshadowing and its plot twist was just because it lied to u prior. Like okay say somethings a ghost, oh wait its noot but we wont acknowledge it. Aunt Mollys an annoying red heiring. By chapter 4 i was trying to convince myself it would all tie together, even tho I barely had any understanding of the plot up to this point. I wont spoil anything but it did not tie it up. Just created more plot holes? If you HATE action, character development. and love dialogue, even ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue, this games for you.... probably. Best part of the game was Garbo and Malloy locking in randomly, thx.

Have i really never posted a review for the best single player story game ever? buy now
Honestly an amazing game, despite the flaws I found in the ending, the cast is so charming and fun to just be around and does a wonderful job at showing Mae's attempts at rekindling old friendships while growing in the process
I have mixed feelings about this game. I did enjoy how the characters are super relatable, the beautiful art, and the OST/music tracks, however, the story bored me. It was hard for me to keep interest in this game halfway through, and it just isn't for me. I tried
very fun game wish it was longer tho
Made me nostalgic for things I haven't experienced and places I haven't been to.
