About
Relive the 90s in this collection of classic Nickelodeon games that includes GUTS, Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day, and both versions of AAAHH!!! Real Monsters.
Do you have it? In GUTS, you can take part in the legendary sports-action show and compete in classic events to test your mettle before you reach the radical rock itself - the Aggro Crag!
Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day is a unique puzzle platforming game where you have to guide Spunky out of harm's way. The game takes you across sixteen hazard-filled levels and locales inspired by the show itself. You might even run into some of O-Town's most well-know residents.
Finally, in AAAHH!!! Real Monsters you get to take direct control of everyone's favorite monsters - Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm! Both versions are included, so you can leave the console wars in the 90s and re-experience the game on your preferred 16-bit machine!
In addition to the games themselves. several extra features are included:
Rewind: Made a mistake? Don't worry! You can rewind to try again.
Save Anywhere: Need a break? Bring up the menu and save your game whenever you want.
Music Player: Just want to listen to the great music in these games? We've got you covered!

Reviews
It's a bit early, but it's rather difficult to recommend this one (and there's no option to add a yes and no). As someone who's mastered both ports of AAHHH!!! Real Monsters, it's right up my alley! However, not everyone are going to enjoy these games and there are some aspects you should be aware about...
Pros
+Games are pretty much the same as their original release (even down to the glitches and other oddities). +Controller Support and a few options for the screen size / layout +Rewind feature is a blessing considering how notoriously difficult some of these games are +Insert PERMANENT SPINE DAMAGE joke here
Cons
-No option to button bind / reconfigure buttons (even on Keyboard). You can change the layout for the AAHHH!!! Real Monsters games by going to the options, but the same can't be said for Rocko and Guts. -While the price is fair, the games themselves are not going to be for everyone. Unless you have nostalgia for them, the difficulty can make or break how you feel about them (unless you make use of Rewind of course) -Not many extra features on this one. You can listen to the music, look at the manuals / box cover for each game, and load / save your progress, but that's it. As of the review, I think adding button binding would help a lot. I don't always expect too much from a retro collection, but I feel that they could have at least got that right on release. I'm only recommending this one because I do love these games and I think the rewind feature can alleviate the rage that it would cause to newcomers.
(Rocko's Modern Life review) Pros - Runs great - Has CRT filters, fun borders, multiple screen resolutions, rewind, saves, lots of achievements, cloud saves! - It comes with the game manual/box art which you can open while in-game - You can pause the game to look around the map - The price point at $15/game is a very fair deal Cons - No button re-mapping. - Not a big deal but would be fun to have a no-rewind mode with leaderboards Overall: I love this and hope we continue to get as many past Nickelodeon games as possible!
I'm happy when collections like these come to modern platforms both from a game preservation perspective and because I enjoy playing old games. But given the stupid difficulty of the games and the relatively barebones extra features (manuals, rewind, ONE save state and that's pretty much it) I feel that you have to truly love the originals in order to enjoy. I'm leaning towards thumbs down because if you have absolutely no background at all you might find the collection more frustrating than fun, but if you know what you're getting into definitely go for it.
Rocko Mains rise up! Good little collection of oldschool Nicktoons Games by the way c:
good collection love the old nickelodeon shows i never played any of these games SO Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day is hilarious you have to wait for the dog its like waiting for natalya in goldeneye but this game was before goldeneye so funny lol
