This game is an embarrassment to the fighting game community.

It's glitchy, online has 3 players per hour, and it's a sequel to a cash-grab nostalgia bait game, yet game is the most fun fighting game I've played in awhile, counting Rivals 2. Every character feels great to play, Slime gives each of them more depth and decisions to make, the campaign is better than Ultimate's grind fest, and with the addition of voice acting, everyone feels so alive. I'm typing this after winning a set online and just finding myself smiling afterwards, watching Rocko do his victory jig after a hard-earned win. This game is just fun man, give it a try.

Fun game, only recommend buying it ON SALE though. Most players play on ranked mode, it's 1v1 with no items. You can find matches for 4-player Free for all with items but it's way less active. Join the discord if you want to find casual games more quickly. The campaign mode/single player stuff is serviceable, but it's pretty basic. Overall, my favorite platform fighter on Steam (Though Rivals of Aether 2 is a close 2nd)

i will not say anything just play the because its the only game i can play to replace smash bros and mortal kombat i guess

if you want to get into competitive platform fighters on pc i would reccommend starting with this one because while its system is definitely unique compared to the others (most of them dont have air heavy attacks or as much hitstun) it still retains the identity of the usual platfighter while also having some crazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of its own
