Ambitious megacorporations monopolize the conquest of space and the colonization of the solar system. At the very edge of the solar system, the companies make a discovery that will shift the technological advantage and upset the balance. And so a new conflict is born: "The Jupiter Incident."

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game may have been good in its day, but in 2026 it is pretty poor. I have been gaming since the late 80's and have played many a space strategy game, including all of the Homeworld Series, the Star Trek Armada's, the Battlefleet Gothic's, Eve Online - etc etc. I had not tried this game, but thought being an old-schooler like I am I would give it a go, and I would have requested a refund if I had not bought the game on sale for a mere £2.50. I have played for 7 hours and essentially given up around 1/3 of the way through the game, despite the difficulty being set to easy. What I like about this game....not very much to be honest. With the exception of the main protagonist, the voice acting is very hammy, and sometimes it makes you cringe. The game does try to develop a detailed story with a sufficient amount of lore, and the music is pretty good. The space visuals are good but the ship models are mediocre (maybe too harsh for a 2004 game). The user interface is cool looking but can be a little clunky when navigating, especially when it comes to the star maps section. Where this game really fails is within the missions. You have no direct control over the ships. You issue orders and they follow them - frustratingly poorly, often to the point where you think they are not really doing what you have asked of them, or not doing anything at all. There is insufficient feedback to the player's inputs, so you end up feeling like you are doing very little, and its more like watching a movie than playing a game. The space battles are uninteresting, and boil down to a laser shooting slugfest that goes on for ages. If you fail, you have to restart the mission, which would be ok if it were not for the tedium of waiting for ships to grind each other down. The game tries to introduce tactics in terms of initial ship setup, and how you go about issuing commands, but ship positioning is a real killer to the need for skill. Having no direct control over positioning often see's a lot of your tactics being nullified. Fighter squadrons and commando boats are pretty useless and get blown out of the sky very easily. By the time the environment is safe enough to launch them, the mission is almost over. Trying to create that safe environment early often leads to heavy losses and detracts from accomplishing the main objectives. I know others who are fond of this game will strongly disagree and say that it is my decision making that is likely flawed - but from what I have experienced I don't have any incentive to figure out where I am going wrong to be better at this game. I feel this game tries too hard to introduce complexity and depth - to a point where the result is just confusion. If I had to sum this game up in 1 word it would be - frustrating. Good for its time, best left in the history books (my opinion only - not designed to offend those who genuinely like this game). Regards.

The graphics may be a little old compared to Battlefleet Gothic Armada, but are still better than even homeworld remastered in my opinion. The single player campaign is probably the best story campaign Ive ever played in a spaceship game. Homeworld was a little disappointing compared to the hype, but Nexus: the Jupiter Incident hit it out of the park. I mean its no Warcraft 3 or Starcraft, but compared to the almost storyless 4X conquest campaign of Battlefleet Gothic Armada, or the basic faceless war against all odds story of homeworld, Nexus: the Jupiter Incident's good old dose of hard scifi'ing mixed with competant ship outfitting and controlling and beautiful space backgrounds and amazing music and sound design make this a definite MUST PLAY for any spaceship fan even in 2026
What a gem. Requires patience if you mess up in a mission and some controls are never explained such as setting your own nav points. Although the story with great pacing, mission layouts that truly make you crave more and spectacular space battles truly make this game something special that nothing else out at the time of this review can really emulate. This is truly a one of a kind.
Good game. I typed a whole in-depth review out, but when I switched windows, Steam lost it, along with the hour or so of my life I gave to type it, so this is all you're getting now. Control scheme is wacky, but you'll get used to it. There is a MASSIVE bug that increases the difficulty of the game tremendously, the only way to fix it is to restart your campaign. The game is good enough to justify doing so, though. Create custom waypoints at your camera location with N + click. Try using Energy Bombs, they are fun, but be aware of eye damage. See that little hand icon in the lower left hand corner next to your selected unit panel? Click it, 90% of the game happens in there. Even without the bug, the game is difficult. Don't be afraid to save-scum. Brutus, my beloved.
IT'S FKING AWESOME
Very unique game, it's something you only find from early 2000s. It's definitely worth a try.
Very fun game, but very hard game. I played on beginner and got stuck on missions often. This is one of those games where you're expected to roll back and change loadouts after failing-- and you will fail a lot. The combat is well thought out, although the pathing for units is very unreliable. Graphically the game is very good for its era. One of the most remarkable things about this game is that they have fully fleshed out and simulated star systems that you can look around at, and the planets/moons/asteroids and whatnot will actually move along their orbit. Its not all on a flat plane either, everything is done in good faith. I genuinely enjoyed this game despite my frustrations. I also enjoyed the story itself, I felt like it was interesting. Its a damn shame we never got a sequel, but also its a damn shame we never got Imperium Galactica 3.
peak, classic, space combat game
Visually dated and kinda unfinished but one of the best capital ships controls and navigation I've ever played, not autistic hard nor braindead wasd.
OK, this game has come to a certain age where not everything you see is looking like as if is up to date. But I like the kind of strategy in the game and the storyline as well. If you were a fan of The Expanse, you're gonna like this game.
