I definitely enjoyed this game, although I got less than 3 hours of playtime out of it, which was disappointing. Most of the HOPAs I have played give me anywhere from 4 - 6 hours, which is what I was expecting. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have an unlockable bonus chapter, which could have added a bit of extra playtime. That being said, there are lots of positives about this one. The story and characters were really fun. The graphics, of course, were beautiful. Great soundtrack. There were a few unique puzzles that I really appreciated. The puzzles are fairly straightforward and all but one of the puzzles had really clear and impressive directions - They were even labeled to make it super easy to understand how to solve them. Moving between areas was really fast and responsive, which made for a smooth game. I purchased it for a 10% discount on sale, but knowing what I know now, I probably would have waited for a 50% off sale due to the shortness of it. Considering I have several HOPAs that gave me 6 hours of playtime that I purchased for about 4 bucks on sale, it was disappointed to get less playtime for more money. All in all, I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend it to friends who love hidden object games, but I would likely advise that they wait for it to be on sale for a good discount considering its length.
Quite short.
Love the characters - excellently drawn. Color and graphics are great. I enjoy anything fantastical, such as, fairies, pixies, gnomes, etc., and this game has that type of feel. I will say, there was a lot of dialogue, but you can click right through it if you don't want to read it. I recommend this game!!
I have now played all the Nevertales collection and have enjoyed each and every one of them! All have been of a standard length with decent bonus games and with varied hidden object scenes. The stories are quite ridiculous (but don't let that put you off, after all not all games can be set in the real world) notwithstanding the duck guards in this one (seriously?!). Basically you play within two scenes at a time, no running backwards and forwards, but the map was helpful at times. Some good mini games throughout the whole series, set at a sensible difficulty for the profile I had chosen. I indulged in the bundle after playing the first of the games and it was well worth it. I recommend all 6 in the series.
loved this game the puzzles were good and the graphics were nice and bright . i recommend this game 10 out of 10 really enjoyed it.
:steambored: Another boring game in the series
Main game: silly, whimsical, gradually leaning towards seriousness Bonus chapter: BATTLE FOR MINAS TIRITH
The game is fun and the plot, while not new, is still good.
