Recommended (19h played) Never Forget genuinely surprised me. For an indie title, it delivers a very dense and unsettling atmosphere without relying on cheap jump scares. The core gameplay sounds simple (spot anomalies, make decisions), but it works extremely well. The longer you play, the more the game messes with your perception. Small details suddenly become critical, and you start questioning everything. What stands out Atmosphere and sound design are consistently tense The loop mechanic stays engaging even after many runs Forces you to stay focused, autopilot does not work Great balance between subtle changes and obvious “something is wrong” moments What to keep in mind Not action horror, more slow psychological tension Can be frustrating if you miss details Repetition is part of the design After 19 hours, it clearly achieves what it sets out to do. It keeps you uneasy and constantly second guessing. I am also really looking forward to a potential speedrun mode, it would fit the gameplay perfectly. Verdict If you enjoy slow paced psychological horror and paying attention to detail, it is definitely worth it.

Ein wirklich gutes Game! Es macht Laune und hat einige, verschiedene Anomalien, wo man Lust bekommt, alle zu finden! Es sorgt dafür, dass du dich hinterfragts. War Objekt xy schon da oder nicht? Sind da Geräusche und wenn ja, was bedeutet das? Für 3,99€ machst du nichts falsch!

A really great take on the Platform 8 style of anomaly game. Limited battery life on the flashlight pushes you to strategize what you memorize on each pass through. There’s a solid mix of spooky, meta, and downright sneaky anomalies. Definitely worth checking out, especially for the price, if you enjoy the anomaly game genre!

Never Forget ist genau die Art von Game, bei der du am Anfang noch denkst: „Easy, das check ich locker.“ … und 10 Minuten später sitzt du da und hinterfragst dein komplettes Leben 😄 Das Prinzip kennt man aus Exit 8: Du musst den gleichen Kellerflur 8 Mal hintereinander korrekt durchlaufen, ohne eine Anomalie zu übersehen. Klingt simpel – ist es auch… zumindest am Anfang. Wir sind nämlich erstaunlich gut reingekommen. Und dann? Komplett auseinandergefallen. Weil manche Anomalien einfach so subtil sind, dass du dich ernsthaft fragst, ob du gerade dumm bist oder das Spiel dich verarscht. Und genau da kommt das richtig starke Feature ins Spiel: die Taschenlampe. Ja, klingt erstmal nach nix Besonderem – gibt’s ja in jedem zweiten Horror-Game. Aber hier bringt sie einen entscheidenden Twist rein: Batterien sind begrenzt. Heisst konkret: Du hast plötzlich Zeitdruck. Und glaub mir – du WILLST nicht ohne Licht durch diesen Flur laufen und versuchen, irgendwelche Unterschiede zu erkennen. Das macht das Ganze direkt intensiver und sorgt für richtig unangenehme Momente. Was Never Forget aber wirklich stark macht, ist die Atmosphäre. Das Spiel schafft es, dich langsam aber sicher komplett zu verunsichern. Du fängst an, dir selbst nicht mehr zu trauen: „Waren da vorher schon zwei Stühle?“ „War das Rohr nicht eben noch kürzer?“ „Hat sich da grad wirklich was bewegt oder bilde ich mir das ein?“ Und genau dieses Gefühl ist der Kern des Spiels. Unterm Strich: Ein richtig starkes Anomalie-Game, das nicht auf billige Jumpscares setzt, sondern auf psychologischen Horror – und das funktioniert verdammt gut. Klare Empfehlung, vor allem wenn du auf dieses „ich zweifle an meinem eigenen Verstand“-Feeling stehst.

Wer ein cooles Spiel mit Anomalien sucht, wird hier fündig! Never Forget ist ein schönes Spiel, das auf interessante Features setzt, die es nicht so leicht machen. Ich will jetzt an dieser Stelle nicht so viel Spoilern ...spielt es selbst, doch passt auf. Gefahren bzw. Anomalien lauern überall!!!

Great Atmosphere! If you are into anomaly horror, you should definitely check this out. The vibe is spot on—dark, unique, and very immersive. 2 hours in and I’m really enjoying the unsettling mood. Definitely worth it!

its a very good game in my opinion. I really like how the game is made. You can see that a lot of work and care went into it. The game keeps you interested. The graphics are very good. Everything looks clean and beautiful. The style of the game fits very well and makes it fun to look at. I also like that you can speedrun the game. It gives you a reason to play it again and again. You can try to get a better time and find new ways to play faster. This makes the game more exciting. Overall, Never Forget is a great game and I would recommend it to everyone who likes escape games.

Die Art des Spiels mit Anomalien gefällt mir sehr. Ich hatte besonderen Spass am Spiel und kann es jedem weiterempfehlen der es noch nicht gespielt hat! Also wer auf diese Art Spiel steht kauft es euch unbedingt.

Nette Idee und gut umgesetzt. Es erfindet das Rad zwar nicht neu, unterhält aber durchweg und spielt sich flüssig. Wer auf das Genre steht, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch.
