This game encourages racism. I was just minding my own business doing puzzles when a cactus and an evil guy ganged up on me and sent me to the abyss!
Okay so even though my playtime is only 35 minutes I already have a LOT to say, and I'm very sorry to say to all of the devs at Tekkou Studios LLC but here is a comprehensive review of the first 3 areas of the game: Starting house: no walk animation, everything is on the same plane, looked odd, could be better overall. Exposition was VERY long, simply put I didn't care for it lol First area/town square(?): Overall pretty fine, easy to hear the difference in mic quality between characters, there's weird hitboxes with all of the world elements. Ex I ran into an invisible wall by the stage, I can only assume this was because of a stage light. All of the characters were designed kinda cool but executed poorly and I would've loved to know their names at the very least. Forest/Woods: Okay so theres a lot of questions I have. For starters the grass and amber are pretty similar in color, and why do the trees cover half the map so I can't see where I'm going?? what is tokenland and why can I not go there????? Amber is too tall for the paths and I was CONSTANTLY having to move up and down to fit along the PATH that was PROGRAMMED for me to WALK THROUGH SMOOTHLY. Now the RANDOM ENCOUNTERS! Simon says was all around a pretty terrible experience. There was so much time in between the sequence that I, an adult, had a hard time remembering the sequence because there was so much time in between each color. I don't think it should be hard at all based off of the other puzzles, I can tell it's not supposed to be hard, but that game honestly just sucked ass. WHY was I puzzle battling the people from the town square?? What is our beef, what are their motives, WHY are they there?? Don't they NOT LIKE the candyman?? it seemed like they were helping him because he ALSO puzzle battled me when I said I didn't want to see his stupid show. Also his tetris is broken. About 15 seconds in to what I can only assume was a "boss battle" the z shaped tetris piece pushed a second piece below the map and was spazzing out and then wouldn't place down. Then the timer went down and then it reset to 999 second...WHAT?? I was forced to reset this area... None of the games have multiple lives which is fine if you don't get reset to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ beginning of the forest. There is no gratification for winning other than not having to reset and finally being done with the encounter. I know this is a game but each random encounter was a waste of time. Other concerns: The art style in the overworld actually hurt my eyes. It is hard to look at and genuinely made me feel pain. The walking animation is really goofy. The legs are animated the same when Amber walks up the screen as when she walks down the screen. It looks like the feet are moving down even though Amber is moving up. It was really hard to see any facial expressions because the mouth and face colors for nearly all of the characters are the same. All in all, the best thing I got out of this 35 minutes was that I can give you a lot of constructive criticism! Looking forward to an update where some of these issues are addressed. PLEASE see this and fix it! I believe in you guys at Tekkou Studios LLC!!

"Never End, Neverland!" is a very poorly made and designed 2D "adventure" game with a few minigames... and despite the very low quality of this game it's clear the developer still bit off more than they can chew here. It was in Early Access but seems to have left that state without any serious bugfixing, polish, or general completion. It's Visual Novel heavy, too, as if the game doesn't have enough problems already. This has some really mediocre looking MS=Paint tier graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Game breaking issues. Puzzles required to progress don't work. Returning to the menu causes nothing to be clickable, and the only thing you can do is force quit the game. I'd happily change my recommendation if these issues get fixed.
