This 'game' is one part tech demo and one part slop. I don't think it's worth anyone's time (except if you want some easy achievements).
Another journey unfolds in the world of Nephise. In this third installment, our heroine is once again tasked with gathering orbs and precisely placing statues. Along the way, she navigates through all four seasons, encounters a massive creature, and even meets some blind skeletons. At its core, this atmospheric walking simulator combines engaging puzzles with platforming challenges, with your progress saved at the start of each chapter. I truly enjoyed this serene romp through a magical landscape.
Quite boring walking simulator where you only collect glowing orbs and statues - not even an interesting story
For five dollars it isn't horrible compared to the other five dollar games out there. However, there really isn't much of a story here or even anything worth wild seeing. The best thing I would say this game has to offer is the music, but some areas if you take too long then the music cuts out for a good minute or two before restarting. The story? Well, your character enters an area yet to be explored to collect orbs. Why? I think to save her sister from her illness but other parts of the game tells you that the orbs gives your character powers to do all kinds of things. All of this is told to you by a voice over. None of it is through the environment which a lot of walking sims are more keen in doing. So, my issues with the game that turn from me loving the idea to just hating it. The hub world where you place the statues is too large and whenever an area opens up I have no idea which way that door is. This leaves me walking 20 minutes to try to find the bloody door. I know it is to explore, but most of the time you have to back track a lot to figure out where you were suppose to go.
ah.. Nephise...
LA MUSIQUE DU PREMIER NIVEAU EST TOUT SIMPLEMENT MAGIQUE QUE DIRE DE PLUS? MAGIQUE/
luckily i got a refund. i enjoyed the gameplay, it just made me uncomfortable how sexualised the character is. i didn’t really take enough notice before purchase as i didn’t watch the trailer (just looked at a few images) but was too evident in the gameplay. it’s really a shame, seems like a fun game aside from that
