[th]MY RATING:[/th] [th] ✔ ✔ ✔ ✔ ✔ ✘ ✘ ✘ ✘ ✘ [/th] [th]5 / 10[/th]

Nephise: Ascension is by far the best part of the Nephise series or let's say it could have been if not... ... but more on that in a moment. So let's first look at what has changed with regard to the other two parts. One of the most noticeable changes is that Nephise gets a character model for the first time that can be seen in cutscenes. Other changes include having to pull levers for platforms, opening doors, and navigating labyrinth-like environments. Apart from the obligatory statues and orbs to collect, this part offers more gameplay than the previous ones. The background story is also told a little more and better here. However, this isn't really important and it's not really a good story either. But I won't comment any further on this now because if you want to play the game, you'll find out about the Story anyway and if you don't do that, you won't miss anything. It is definitely not an educational gap. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3136829839 Visually, the game is an eye-catcher and the landscapes and locations are very varied. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3136904273 In addition, this time it is more of a walking sim than a hopping simulator like it was with Nephise Begins. With the orb search you have to search every corner of the level and you get to see a lot. Personally, I would have found it better if the orbs didn't shine so much and would therefore be a little harder to find. But it's ok that way too. What's a bit annoying, as in the other games, is that the characters and animals have a strange size ratio. Some are too small, others are much too big. The idea of incorporating some platforming aspects into the game isn't really bad in principle, but I think that it doesn't work well with the game, especially since the implementation is usually poor and too simple. What ruins the game even more for me as a nice walking sim is the appearance of “zombies” and skeletons. These aren't really a challenge, but they give the impression of a "I'd like to be an adventure", especially in the last part of the game, which somehow doesn't quite fit the theme of an atmospheric walking sim. The store page shows very well how and, above all, what you can see in the game. Even if the game excerpts are quite short, you have actually already seen the entire game with the trailer and that includes a solution to a puzzle that I find quite stupid. The game is a +1 game and all achievements work perfectly and almost all of them can be obtained during the course of the game. For three of them you have to do something "special" but these are self-explanatory if you look at the achievements before you start the game. But you can also catch up on these because the game has a chapter selection. Trading cards and points shop items are also available. Anyone who owns the game can take a look at it and you can take some nice screenshots in the game. But I wouldn't buy it at the full price and therefore, despite the larger game scope, I can't really recommend it. It's a good walking simulator, good graphics and music. About two hours of gameplay. This chapter is better than the previous ones.
First off: I played about 1 hour, the rest of the time was spent idling for cards. The game is a walking simulator with a narrating voice. Overall it's enjoyable, but it's also very short and overall it felt like it was trying to drag itself a little longer than it should have. If you need ratings: Graphic: 7/10 Sound: 7/10 Longevity: 4/10 Gameplay: 5/10 Overall: 5/10 Buy it only if you want an easy game to play for an hour.
Yet another adventure in the world of Nephise. In this third installment our heroine is again tasked with collecting orbs and positioning statues just so. In addition, she experiences all four seasons, another rather large animal, and some blind skeletons. Primarily an atmospheric walking sim, with a puzzle to solve and platforming challenges to overcome. Your progress is saved at the beginning of each chapter. I enjoyed this relaxing romp through a magical landscape.
Walking Simulator + 1. Nephise Ascension is the third and so far the final part of Nephise Trilogy creating a mysterious world with undead, giants and other magical beings. If you are familiar with Nephise games you might be familiar of gathering things until the next event opens, whatsoever it guaranteed that you get that more than enough with this game you also are introduced with platforming and simple minded puzzle solving and overall the package is pretty comprehensive plus you can jump! Like most of the games in the franchise, Ascension is very beautiful game, with mesmerizing music and pretty story. However don't let some pics fool you for there is not actual combat or surviving elements for every moving obstacle you meet is blind and lifeless and you really can't die unless you are curious enough to go close to see what happens. You may also have noticed that main character is straightly ripped from some horny dream and if this kind of "eye candy" should be considered trump card, you are gonna be disappointed for the model appears just few times during gameplay, besides I found the whole character to be in conflict with the rest of the game. Why she dresses like some badass magic dominatrix if she commits such innocent deeds like carrying statues and collecting orbs? Can you give us some backstory?? I also had a moment of thought that the game broke in a triangle puzzle where you need to be exactly in specific spot in order to pass - this just caused me running aimlessly in an area looking for something while actually I had already solved what to do. Ascension is not the greatest game, but still a decent walking sim which takes you into somewhere far far away for the moment it lasts. I recommend.
Short casual walking simulator and the third part in the “Nephise” series, this one is three times the length of the previous two games combined, and finally starts to feel like a real game. Here we get to explore a forlorn but beautiful valley with ancient ruins, collect orbs to unlock adjacent locations (including dungeons with zombies and skeletons, and some elements of arcade), and in the few cutscenes finally see how our heroine looks (like a third-rate anime cosplayer, rather than outdoor hunter of magics). The game feels more advanced than its predecessor in all regards: storyline is more developed, graphics use fewer objects yet at the same time they manage to look fantastic, and music is again excellent. The “Ascension” can be considered as a really good representative of the walking sims genre, worth having if you enjoy these types of games.

Неплохая головоломка.
