This game scratches the itch for me like none other right now. I can best describe it a geometric puzzle where you figure out optimal placements of buildings with different areas of influence, abilities, types, and faction affiliation to meet income goals every 8 rounds or days until you reach the 65th day. With additional choices of boons after each 8 round goal being met as well as few "shanties" being added that can block placement strategies or be exploited by other buildings. Examples of some of the buildings and abilities are factories the gain income for every industrial building above or below them (the same stack as the game puts them), black markets that boost the income for neighboring commercial type building for every illegal faction building it shares a row or stack with, and toxic waste dumps that boost the income of neighboring industrial buildings but harm the income of neighboring residential buildings. Boons can include additional abilities for buildings; neutral buildings joining another "faction" like Corp, Illegal, or Government; or gaining more options to influence the buildings you're offered each round. Then you take what you're offered and try to figure out the best way to maximize synergies, avoid detriments, and plan for the future. Despite all the game has to offer in terms of mechanics it's easy to learn and pick up on. Helps that it starts out simple with a few types of buildings being initially available with more unlocked as you hit certain milestones and get the hang of the game. An easy recommendation from me if you like these kinds of games. Def got my money's worth on it!

It's ok. I've played 10 games from Normal to Dystopian (didn't beat dystopian yet). It's all about finding the right combinations. You don't get all the buildings either, you build up to getting them based on your score game by game. There's really not alot of information or guides about this game either especially for the Achievements, some just seem impossibly out of reach to get.
Neongarten is a puzzle game with rogue-like elements, that looks like a vertical city builder. It's easy to understand, but the unlocks greatly increase the complexity and the need to think carefully in three dimensions. "Cute cyberpunk" seems a contradiction in terms, but that is what this is.
A fun little roguelite puzzler. Even when you fall short, you end up with a pretty little block, which is part of the fun. The Black ICE mods add additional challenges, frequently upending your usual strategies. Each run isn't too terribly long, so it's nice little timewaster when you are between bigger things. Loved it from the Prologue version and the full version delivers. Fair warning, the Government buildings are really odd and require a lot of thinking about how you want to pull them off, as they have odd effects...but some of them add up to a lot of power.
Good: - The style is very appealing - Building details adapt to the available space Bad: - I get fuzzy (low-res) textures and no way to increase resolution - My computer works itself up like it's trying to run a triple A on Ultra. Something is horribly wrong here and it makes me want to not run the software.
Very fun game that is surprisingly addicting. Fun to play a round or two during break sessions.
Very fun, relaxing game with some very interesting combinations
https://youtu.be/w7cquJfv6g0 Title stacking requires a clear readable UI and communication which is not up to par in this puzzle game.
Neongarten is a quick and easy atmospheric puzzle game where you construct a cyberpunk city stack on a mysteriously vacated lot. On a very basic level you can just slam blocks down, watch the pretty lights, and chill out. The more you play, new mechanics, new blocks, and a greater depth of play reveals itself. Neongarten doesn't ask a lot from you in terms of time or thought, but delivers a smooth, satisfying way to spend some time watching the neon skyline rise.
