I never tried a typing game before, and I must say, I loved it! Frenzied but manageable, enemies fly and shoot in learnable patterns that makes the game quite smart. Another little gem from the Shooting Ships bundle!
The arrow keys should of been used to move.

NICE GRAPHICS
High mobility spaceship? Check. Screen with a lot of shots? Check. Multitasking mechanics? Check. Glorious difficulty spikes? Check. Me at the leaderboard? Check... and going for the top 5 Very nice brain melting game ;D
Another game with mass potential that I hate playing because of AUTO-FIRE . I want to shoot, I dont want to just move around the screen while something autoshoots for me. Its a shame because I know I would have liked this game.
Summary, if it weren't for the typing, I'd think it was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game. Even the graphics look exactly like that form, in a skinny vertical column, just like on a phone. It's a bullet hell (easier than the hardcore ones though) and all the bullets and enemies are bright glowing lights. The phrases you have to type are silly memery and catchphrases etc, and they're not laid out in a clean line to glance at then type, instead you can only see a word and a half above your ship as you fly around and have to do them one at a time. WASD move your ship around, but are also used to type letters, sooooo......there are some issues there, but as with most action typing games, it's hard to fault it for the poor controls, there doesn't seem to be a better way to do it.
It's always nice to see such unique games. I was skeptical before buying this because I thought that the things you type also move the spacecraft, but that's not the case here. It is firing its normal (or weaker) ammo automatically. You gotta type phrases from movies or video games in order for it to use its secondary weapon (you're gonna need it for stronger enemies and bosses). At the same time you gotta control it to dodge bullets and after each wave the room that you can use your secondary weapon decreases. It really gives you an andrenaline rush. The graphics, gameplay and soundtrack are way too good considering the price, especially on sale.
Loving this game!!!!! Stupid addictive and challenging TEN BILLION % recommend!!!
The best way to type better. Great soundtrack and fun game.
