There’s something quietly captivating about Neolithic Dawn. Even in its early access stage, it already manages to pull you into its prehistoric world (even though the game is still rough around the edges at this stage). Yes, you’ll notice the basic animal animations and a few UX quirks here and there, but that’s part of the charm of watching a small, passionate team build something ambitious in real time. The foundation is solid: exploration feels immersive, survival has real weight, and there’s a sense of discovery that keeps pulling you back in. Knowing that the original creator and a tiny team are behind this makes it even more impressive. You can feel their dedication in every detail that does work beautifully already. I’m curious to see how this evolves. Worth supporting if you love VR survival and world-building games.

Great setting especially for a survival game, graphics are pretty good and the VR controls feel smooth. The game can probably use some QoL but nothing crazy... plus it has Coop! Edit: Great customer support and service is refreshing with smaller dev studios and Neolithic just did me a big solid. A few months ago they had an event to support the release of a patch with a giveaway for a free copy of the game. Its been a while since the contest and I couldn't find my key. In under 20 hrs they honored the event and got me a new key which I gave to a friend for his birthday! After being over loyal to another company with a monthly sub and being gravely disappointed with their horrible customer service. I feel like Neolithic deserved an extra nod for going above and beyond because a good game with an unique setting, VR Immersion amd great customer service for $20 is a great value deal! If you like survival game and own VR then its a no brainer

doesnt create a game/ save file, dont buy yet

Why so laggy? Can't pick up anything, my body feels laggy while the game dosen't, and virtual desktop says I'm running good frames. cant get past the tutorial because of all of this.
