4/10 Bird is a bird simulator where you fly around an enclosed space. Relaxing and serene but extremely limited. Abandoned project. My takeaway: Bird was exactly what I expected in a great way. You’re dropped into a forest where you play as a bird and fly around. No real objective other than the ability to eat some worms.The scenery is pretty and the ability to fly is done well, making for a relaxing casual experience. You have the ability to enable an automatic flight mode which makes the time go by faster for those trying to complete the game with all achievements. The music is minimal and I encountered no bugs while playing although I would assume it would be easy for someone to find them. It took me around ~17 hours, a lot of which was idle so I’m sure it’ll take less time for those that aren’t away from the keyboard, to fully complete Bird with all achievements. No cards. The controls are a little hard to get the hang of, but once you do it’s smooth sailing from there. There’s not much you can do in terms of actual gameplay so the 30 day achievement can feel a little redundant. There’s also a very limited space you can fly around in without hitting an invisible wall. It’s also been in early access for years with no updates, leading me to think the game is abandoned but the game is okay as is. Maybe one day the developer will pick the project back up. Honestly, while Steam is packed with massive RPGs and high-octane shooters, "bird" is low-key the best thing on the platform because it actually lets you relax. Everything else feels like a second job—grinding for gear, checking off quest markers, and sweating over leaderboards. "bird" just lets you be a bird. There’s no UI cluttering the screen and no "game over" screen making you feel like a failure. The vibe is just immaculate. It’s got that lo-fi, chill aesthetic that makes you want to turn off your brain and just glide around for twenty minutes after a long day. It’s not trying to sell you a battle pass or trick you into playing for 100 hours; it’s just a small, beautiful space that respects your time. In a world where every developer is obsessed with "realism" and complexity, "bird" wins by being simple. It’s less of a game and more of a digital deep breath. If you’ve ever just wanted to quit your job and fly away, this is basically the closest you can get for a few bucks on Steam.

I always wanted to be a bird ^^

A cheap game with a bird. Not as good as Nimian Legends but not as bad as Wanderness. you get what you pay for, literally hahah. The bird and the ground are Okay but there is not enough environment to fly around, its just a part of a forest. thats it, if you get out of the little patch, its just a huge white nothingness. it would have been better if it was forest in the distance but it wasnt accesible. at least i would have been dissapointed in the delivery but not making me feel bad about the game like having two good features and one bad. You cant really test your graphics card in this game because it really looks like every other game graphics, so why would u get this? idk maybe u dont care and want every cheap game with a forest and a bird? aight then get it.
