Bought it for the metal slug games, but I'm impressed in general honestly. When I was young I played Mario Tennis and Megaman extreme 1, and 2 for gbc and i guess that simplistic art style always stayed with me. Seeing that there's actually more great games with the same aesthetic is awesome! Something that i think is rather impressive about this collection is that it has same screen vs modes for most if not all the fighting games which is neat considering that you used to have to have two consoles with two games and a link cable. The same screen multiplayer, to the best of my knowledge, is the only way to play some of these neo geo pocket color games multiplayer in an emulator, so that's really cool! Now, i would never recommend this game for freak'n $40 USD, but for $6?!? heck ya man sign me up! The roms are just laying about in the game's folder so you can just throw 'em in retroarch or any emulator for your liking if the in game emulator ain't on par to your standards. Only thing I could ask for is to port Sonic Pocket Adventure in the same nature, rather stand alone or in a 3rd collection, but as for this collection heck ya man, wait for that sale and buy!

Grab this when it's on sale. A fun collection of games with a charming though somewhat wonky interface. For a collection of '8-bit' games I would expect more features like save states and fast forward, though there is a rewind feature and manuals are provided for each game.

I would recommend but for some reason this stopped working on my steam deck. I tried every proton with Forced compatibly (though it worked without before ) and still no luck. I really enjoyed this collection and want to play it more but can't atm .please send help
