Excelente colección, para adquirirla SOLO en promociones, y si eres un fan de los juegos de SNK. Los juegos cada uno de por si añaden horas y horas de diversión y de uso a esta colección, pero es muy caro para ver que solo es un emulador con 12 ROMS de NeoGeo Pocket (ROMs multilingües para casi todos los juegos, excepto Gals Fighters y The Last Blade, que tienen ROM en Inglés y japones por separado). Debo decir que he probado emuladores y este es el que mejor corre los juegos, mas que todo por que fueron capaces de corregir los errores de velocidad y sonido que aparecían en emuladores gratuitos, y que parece puedes jugar en modo 2P local (sigo verificando). La calidad del emulador en si es buena, la presentación de los juegos por separado es muy simple pero llega al grano y logra mostrar un pedazo de la historia de SNK en la presentación de cada uno de los títulos (cajas en japones e inglés, artes, y hasta el chiste de cambiar el método de emulación de NGP blanco y negro, color o nuevo color). Entiendo que el valor de la colección está mas apoyada en el la propiedad intelectual y en la historia de la compañía que en el trabajo que le pusieron para ponerlo en venta, porque cada juego por separado no va mas allá de lo que ya se pudo conocer o disfrutar antes en la emulación ilegal. Si los llegaste a jugar emulados y los quieres de forma legítima, así sea para jugarlos en PC, es la oportunidad, comprando cuando esté en promoción. No vale la pena comprarlo en precio completo.

Great Games - Terrible Emulation Did you even accidentally bump any of the emulation save/rewind/reset buttons during gameplay? Hope you like playing metal slug with a jump button that puts you in handcuffs (SF2 style) Playing Dark Arms and need to save and resume later? Well since you saved while an enemy was attacking they'll just be locked an in invincible state making the boss unbeatable.

過去に実機で遊んでいたゲームがsteamで遊べるのだと、セール時期を狙って購入。 そうして理解したことは「俺はネオジオポケットカラーという本体の方が好きだったのだ」ということだった。 実機を持っていた人には伝わると思うが、持つ時の握りやすさ、スティックを倒した時のカチという音と感触によって８方向の入力が安定するということ、ゲームソフトを挿さずに本体の電源を入れた時の機能を恋しく思ってしまうのだ。 まあ起動する実機まだ持ってるんだけどね。 懐古の気持ちを齎してくれる、当時そのままのゲーム移植。今のゲームにどっぷり浸かってる若い世代にとってどの程度の満足感を与えられるだろうか……しかしおすすめしておく。 携帯機に移植された格ゲーやら横スクロールアクションがどういったものであったかを体験しろ！

I'm writing this review as a person who has no memories of the NEOGEO POCKET system, simply because I don't think it was even available in my country. First of all, the whole collection feels overpriced for classics. The only thing that caught my attention were the Metal Slug games, but to be honest, even though I was excited to try something new Metal Slug related, it wasn't that much fun. I think nostalgia plays a huge role in the reception of the collection, and if you don't have any memories of it either, you probably won't have much fun exploring it.
