Neodori Forever

This game is actually pretty good. The physics are wonky at first and take some getting used to, but don't listen to the bad reviews. Despite the physics being weird, the game is actually good. It has a good aesthetic, the levels are challenging, and is better than a game called 80's overdrive. The levels are challenging somewhat because of the wonky physics. If you are looking for a serious racing game with realistic physics, this is not the game for u, If u just got high and looking for a game to chill to, this is a game for you. But is this game better than Slipstream and Outrun 2006? You decide. The game did not crash my PC and seems to work with gamepad automatically. It seems to respond to gamepad input gradients as expected. My pc is not a potato, but is not exactly a 3090 RTX gaming aircraft carrier. If you have a midrange pc I haven't found any reason why this game would crash. Also there appears to not be character customization options. if that is a problem for you then this game is not for you. The other issue is when I played more of the game, while each world is diverse, the levels contained within each world so far seem somewhat repetitive, so I would say the asking price of 10 dollars is a bit much. Maybe its more of a 5 dollar game. The music is good, but advancing to new worlds doesn't seem to unlock new music tracks, which creates a sense of lack of progression.

Haven't played something this catchy and relaxing for a while. Had a lot of fun with it!

Highly recommend this game, super fun, and has that retro feel while still being a modern game!

While I have only played for a very short period of time when posting this review I think I can honeltly say this tis the sort of game you might expect to see on mobile phone stores - simple bright colours, simple controls (automatic acceleration but choose when to boost, drift and turn) and need to collect coins to unlock stuff. This would get a meh recommendation if that was an option - better then a no but not a yes.

Addictive, I just bought it today and already have 3 hours. I feel like once I finish the main levels though there won't be much else. Edit (about 8 months later): Later updates added a lot more and I still love this game!

A good little time kill. The drift mechanics are wonky as hell, better to just tap the button than actually drift. The aesthetics and music are top notch. Wish there was more than just an aesthetic difference between cars. Overall, it's worth some play.

Mixed feelings about this one. It has some outrun feelings to it, but I was hoping for a game with a better soundtrack and controls to be honest. I can see some people liking it, but I'm not of them.

Neat little retro racer that brings nice Outrun vibes.

Game runs great on Steamdeck, seems to have been made for it, according to the icons. Drifting feels a little uncontrollable sometimes. It's better to play this game with the D-pad, cause the stick has too much sensitivity.
